Perfect in every way! A great property and stay!

5 of 5
"Could not imagine a better stay and a better place. The beach condo was awesome. Fantastic living room with great furniture, flat screen tv, Bluetooth stereo system, etc. A full kitchen and bath tucked into a very efficient and easy access plan. The bedroom was perfect - nice and comfortable and quiet - also with its own flat screen tv. Outside includes both a front porch overlooking the street and town area, and also a private porch and patio area all for your use - with great patio furniture and even a grill included. The upstairs outdoor deck with picnic table and sofa is a must! Great view of the ocean and sunset each night. The location couldn't be better - 100 steps to the beach and one street over from Bridge Street with great cafes, bars and the best breakfast at the Island Creperie. Brenda and Danny were so kind and helpful. Highest recommendation possible and can't wait to return! Thank you!!!" - Mark

A little bit of paradise

5 of 5
I've been staying at the beach house for 14 years, and would actually change my dates if the house were unavailable. It's just paradise to walk out your sliding glass doors and have your own private beach right there. The gulf is just a few steps; and a pool for those who prefer. There are a number of very good restaurants close by; there's an island trolley stop across the street that if you don't want to drive yourself. I'm already looking forward to year 15.

Very spacious and relaxing

5 of 5
We are two retired couples in our 60's who really enjoyed our month-long stay in the top unit in March 2014. We loved Anna Maria Island. This house is in a great location - - a very short walk to the beach and only a block from a trolley stop (there is a free trolley that runs the entire length of the island, we LOVED that!). It was relatively cool for the entire month (in the 70's) so we were able to leave the sliding doors open in the bedroom (although it would have been nicer if there were screens in those doors) and left the front doors open, there was a calm breeze blowing through the unit all day long! The living room is HUGE, with 3 sofas but the large porch that overlooked the bay was the best part. It faces west, overlooking the bay and since this house is next to a trailer park, the view to the bay is not obstructed. We saw lots of crazy looking big white birds and even a flock of wild green parrots! We were a little disappointed that we really couldnt fish in the bay at the end of our street, it was too rocky. But we had fun fishing in the gulf off of the beach, caught lots of different types of fish! And the porch....a little piece of heaven... that porch was soooooo relaxing. We spent hours out there just sitting and chatting and reading and watching. It is a very quiet area except for occassional construction noise because of some new homes that were being built down the street... but that was on the east side so we really couldnt hear that from the porch. The people on the island were very friendly, there were some good happy hours, there is a grocery store and drug store only about 1 mile from us (used the trolley if we weren't buying much), and there is a "downtown" area a few miles north (near Anna Maria Pier, don't miss that!) and another one a short drive south. At the south end of the island was a market every weekend during March which we really enjoyed. There is a park on the south end of thisland which we hiked... fishing from the beach... the bike riding was a bit limited since we were not comfortable riding on the main drag. We loved our stay and the owner was extremely accommodating and friendly. The few issues we had (i.e. the remote control for the tv was missing) were quickly resolved. Loved the covered parking and the locked garage where we could keep our beach and fishing and biking equipment. This is a great place to stay! Both units are only accessible via steps so keep that in mind if you have issues getting around.
