            Working Man's Rental

            4 of 5
We recently stayed in this unit for 3+ months while my husband worked in the area. It is a super location for an easy walk to the beach (10mins) and an easy walk to the downtown area of Boca for great restaurants and shopping (5-10 mins). The bed was quite comfportable for old bones. For a long term stay the TV channels could have been better. There was mostly "As seen on TV" stations. Lisa did provide HBO, but expanded channels would have been a better option. We did not use the Fitness center (not aware of its existancce), not sure if there is a cost associated with the use. There is a washer/dryer available to the building (at a cost) which really helps for a long term stay. The view from the apartment is wonderful, especially if you enjoy watching boats and boaters. The drawbridge is immediately outside the door. The only drawback is that there is no private balcony. The makeshift balcony is actually the walkway to all of the apartments on the 2nd floor. At this writing there is a long term tenant next door that does not allow enjoyment of the outside area and is somewhat treatening. The furniture in the apartment is comfortable and clean. We would recommend the apartment but with the caution of the next door neighbor and outside activities. Also be aware that there may be tim es when Lisa will show the apartment to potential renters (happened twice) so if privacy is important to you, you may want to work that out before hand. Apartment was definately afordable.
