Best-ever Florida Keys vacation

5 of 5
Upon our arrival, and to our delight, everything we had expected from this vacation home by virtue of its detailed description and inviting photos on its website became a reality plus more. The grounds and landscaping were wonderful and very well maintained. The house was spotlessly clean, inviting, spacious and creatively decorated. Its waterfront location with a spectacular panoramic view from the large patios, master bedroom balcony and pool deck took our breath away. What a great first impression! For the next four weeks, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The boat slip and lift allowed us to bring our boat to the property which made it easy for us to go fishing, which we did frequently. Fishing the nearby bridges and just a few hundred yards off-shore was fantastic with an almost non-stop bite of a large variety of fish including Mangrove and Yellow-tail snappers, Porgies, Grouper, Spanish mackerel, Jacks and colorful reef fish. When we returned from a fishing trip, the pelicans lined up in front of the fish-cleaning station next to the boat slip for their part of our catch. What fun it was to see their antics and compete for their treats. We often patronized the nearby supermarket, stores and unique restaurants, and enjoyed the weekend Flea Market. In all, we had a super vacation because of this wonderful home, its ideal location, all its amenities and extras, the attentiveness and kindness of the owners and their diligence in keeping this property in top condition. We'll be back for sure!
