Great time and location!

5 of 5
We arrived at Breakaway and were blown away with the accomodations! Traveling with 2 other couples to celebrate various wedding anniversaries and had a great time at "home" and exploring the island. Very relaxing to sit and watch boats and dolphins going by on the bay and then take a swim in the pool or bay. Would definitely recommend to anyone, families, couples, etc and we are already working on future dates to return to Breakaway. Thank you!

Private and Picturesque Paradise

5 of 5
We had a fabulous time in this sweet and well-appointed home. The house is beautifully decorated, the beds were comfortable, and there are lots of extra touches that make you feel at home and in luxury: an outdoor shower, lighting to welcome when you come home at night, plenty of handy appliances. The house is even more inviting than the photos reveal. Driving up to the property, the sea grapes in the front yard created a natural privacy barrier for the front of the home. We thought we were in our own private, secluded paradise. We loved the beautiful backyard, which is invitingly landscaped, focusing on creating privacy from the neighbors and others in our party with well placed bushes and small trees. Sitting on the dock with a glass of wine in the afternoon watching the birds fly over (and there were many) was one of our favorite things to do. We loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat and have already recommended the property to friends. Tim and Kate were delightful to work with. If you want a relaxing, private, low-keyed vacation, close to both beach and bay, set off the tourist track, but easily accessible to all of the island, this is the place. We will be back!

Great Rental, Great Location

5 of 5
We spent just over 2 weeks here and had a great time. We couldn’t have picked a better location, it’s so central to everything. You really don't need a car and we used ours very little. There is a good choice of shops restaurants, cafes and bars less than a five minute walk. You can walk along the beach to even more. I don't think Publics is much more than a 15 minute walk but who's counting when you can walk to the supermarket along the beach and then catch the free trolley back if you buy too much. The most beautiful beach is just a very short walk to the end of the street. In fact its so close that you don't need to take drinks etc. to the beach, you just pop home for a lovely cold drink or a bite to eat and we left our chairs right on the beach. The house itself was very clean, nicely furnished and very comfortable with everything you need for a perfect holiday. We had a minor problem with the AC. Norman arranged for someone to take a look within an hour of us contacting him and the repairman arrived first thing the next morning with a replacement part. This is our first visit to Anna Maria where we have not had a pool and we will never bother with one again. You can swim in a pool anywhere but the beach is unique so make sure you make the most of it.
