A perfect holiday retreat

5 of 5
We had a fantastic holiday and did not want to leave. The house is extremely well equipped, very comfortable and clean. Aleta was great from the time we booked, responding quickly to any queries up until after we had left and posting forgotten items! The only downside to us was the noise from the air conditioning unit when sitting out on the lanai balcony but we got used to it and I guess that’s the price you pay for staying cool inside. The beach was beautiful and it was great having the locker on the beach to store chairs etc. There are good restaurants close by and the trolley bus was a great bonus as well as the bikes. We have no hesitation in recommending this holiday house and we would definitely like to return.

Zach and Gayle; Vancouver, Washington

My husband and I just returned from a week's stay at Jen and Joe's lovely vacation home on Bradenton Beach, Florida. The house was exactly as advertised, beautifully decorated, well-maintained, well-stocked, and perfectly located. The master bedroom is awesome, especially the divinely comfortable king size bed and balcony off from the bedroom. The master bath has a very nice jetted garden tub and good-sized tiled shower. We have stayed at numerous vacation homes, and this is by far one of the best. Jen and Joe are perfect hosts and very helpful. They answered every one of our questions before our trip, and made it clear to contact them if we had any problems during our stay. They are proud of their home, and rightly so. We will definitely be coming back. We stayed during the cold snap that hit the nation, including Florida. Despite unusually cold weather for this area, we found every day to still be perfectly fine to go out on the beautiful beaches and fishing piers in the area. We didn't come to shop, but found delightful shops on the island, particularly at St. Armands Circle, and in Sarasota and Venice. We ended up buying another suitcase to bring back the things we purchased! We have fallen in love with this little bit of paradise. There isn't a better place to experience it than in Jen and Joe's lovely vacation home, which is located right across the road from a lovely white, sandy beach.

Great Rental, Great Location

5 of 5
We spent just over 2 weeks here and had a great time. We couldn’t have picked a better location, it’s so central to everything. You really don't need a car and we used ours very little. There is a good choice of shops restaurants, cafes and bars less than a five minute walk. You can walk along the beach to even more. I don't think Publics is much more than a 15 minute walk but who's counting when you can walk to the supermarket along the beach and then catch the free trolley back if you buy too much. The most beautiful beach is just a very short walk to the end of the street. In fact its so close that you don't need to take drinks etc. to the beach, you just pop home for a lovely cold drink or a bite to eat and we left our chairs right on the beach. The house itself was very clean, nicely furnished and very comfortable with everything you need for a perfect holiday. We had a minor problem with the AC. Norman arranged for someone to take a look within an hour of us contacting him and the repairman arrived first thing the next morning with a replacement part. This is our first visit to Anna Maria where we have not had a pool and we will never bother with one again. You can swim in a pool anywhere but the beach is unique so make sure you make the most of it.
