Very nice house !

4 of 5
Me my husband and his grandmother came to alligator point to enjoy the beach with no crowds, and we did just that! The house was very comfortable as accommodating for our week here. I wouldn't suggest the house if you have issues with stairs since there are quite a few to the front door, but we got very use to them after a few days. pros=quick beach access, great views from two balconies (one on loft), comfortable beds, nice kitchen appliances, multiple TVs with satellite (with dvr), Internet access (too slow to use for streaming anything though), and a homey environment with helpful office staff! Cons= Lot of stairs, house shakes with movement/wind (get use to it pretty fast), tiny jacuzzi (length-wise) too small to enjoy, very thin walls in master bedroom, needs better pans with nonstick!!!, need at least one thing to recline in living room!, no night stand in 2nd bedroom, and no bathroom in the loft (makes it hard to go down stairs at night). All in all we enjoyed our visit to Alligator Point and were especially glad to be away from crowds during spring break! Definitely try Edward Ball Wakulla State Park and Angelos on the river! Both were great!

Excellent Experience

5 of 5
We took a group of young adults to the house, and it was more than accommodating for us. The house was beautiful on the inside and was simple and quaint enough for us to enjoy our peaceful week away from work and our hometown. The open living/dining area was great for long slow mornings, and the sleeping arrangements were great. There was a master bedroom, a secondary bedroom and a loft to sleep in. Phillip, the owner, was also doing some impressive work on the downstairs of the house to (sometime soon!) be able to accommodate more folks with excellence. Phillip was more than helpful for us. He was there to show us around the house when we arrived and had taken great care of the house before we arrived. I would recommend this property to anyone!

CELEBRATING LIFE/MAKING NEW MEMORIES

4 of 5
We needed a quiet peaceful place to spend time together celebrating life, and making new memories. The Blue Marlin in Alligator Point was a wonderful getaway for us. Connection with the owner was quite easy, and he seems to be a very delightful person. The property is in a serene area, where we enjoyed viewing dolphins, sand crabs, a bald eagle, and many other types of birds. We walked over to"Bald Point State Park" and found sweet serenity! Also, we especially enjoyed our visit to the "Gulf Specimen Aquarium And Marine Lab"- just a short ride in town, over to Panacea. We spent most of our time on the screened porch and sundecks cooking out, playing board games, reading, and enjoying the quiet solitude that we so very much desired. During this special time together we were celebrating a birthday, an anniversary, and also the life and great memories of our dear son who went to Heaven this time last year (due to a pulmonary embolism). The Blue Marlin was just the right place for us to be together to cherish old memories, and to create new ones. This property is just steps from a nice quiet beach that we enjoyed very much. We cooked most of our meals in the large kitchen, and loved the open dining area, and living room. The four bedrooms, and two baths provided plenty of space and privacy. It was also great to have access to a handy washer and dryer on the premises. We ended up staying around The Blue Marlin almost the entire time, because we found it to be such a calm and serene place for us to spend special time together, in a special place, built by a very special person! Much gratitude for a Lovely time in a Lovely place!! Eternally Grateful, The Matthews Family
