My family stayed in this beautiful home over the Christmas holidays. Spacious, well equipped with modern amenities, excellent drinking water, outstanding views from the back porch, cozy hammocks, etc. are all as advertised. We walked to the beach, hiked around the gated community, enjoyed New Year's Eve fireworks from the infinity edge pool and napped in the hammocks. The owner, Mercie, was helpful with planning details.
El Salvador is a pretty and friendly country, but spoiled visitors from the US (like my family) need to be aware - it is not Mexico nor Costa Rica. The ability to communicate in Spanish is a must. There are some areas that should be avoided - locals can provide good advice. Traffic in and around cities is a nightmare during holiday season. Good restaurants are around but few and far between. Renting a car at the airport takes a while. With all that in mind, it is a fun country to visit and Casa Bella Vista is a great place to stay with your family.
