Perfect!

5 of 5
We absolutely loved our vacation at this property! Easy view of the surf break from your private location. We found the house clean, well laid out, and easy to walk to all El Zonte attractions as well as catch the bus to La Libertad. We used the kitchen nearly every meal for the ten days we were there and it was well stocked for cooking Christmas dinner etc.. Eve was easy to work with from beginning to end and the care taker Carlos and his family do an amazing job of helping out with your every need. We hope to visit again soon!

Beauty and Paradise

5 of 5
We (3 couples) were at Villa Serena from 24 January to 3 February. Carolina, the owner, was instrumental in helping for the planning of our vacation. This included the private transportation from and to the San Salvador Airport and the Villa, and the transformation of our stay from a usual Home Away rental into an All Inclusive Resort type vacation. What else can you ask for? Your private Villa with Chef, including pantry stocking, housekeeping, gardening and private tour operator services. All services were provided by wonderful and dedicated individuals (Loli, her daughter and Miguel), and most importantly in complete happiness. The staff really made a difference. If that is not enough, how about this: Private pool? Private palapas? Private beach? IT IS ALL THERE, within 100 feet! At Villa Serena, we got to see both the sunrise and the sunset. On a busy day, we could see up to a dozen people on the beach. We were literally alone on earth for 11 days. On a final note, none of us spoke Spanish. This, however, did not preclude us from having a great time. Carolina took care of all of our needs and with the help of a dictionary and sign language, we went by fine. Beautiful house in a safe gated community

5 of 5
My family stayed in this beautiful home over the Christmas holidays. Spacious, well equipped with modern amenities, excellent drinking water, outstanding views from the back porch, cozy hammocks, etc. are all as advertised. We walked to the beach, hiked around the gated community, enjoyed New Year's Eve fireworks from the infinity edge pool and napped in the hammocks. The owner, Mercie, was helpful with planning details. El Salvador is a pretty and friendly country, but spoiled visitors from the US (like my family) need to be aware - it is not Mexico nor Costa Rica. The ability to communicate in Spanish is a must. There are some areas that should be avoided - locals can provide good advice. Traffic in and around cities is a nightmare during holiday season. Good restaurants are around but few and far between. Renting a car at the airport takes a while. With all that in mind, it is a fun country to visit and Casa Bella Vista is a great place to stay with your family.
