Wonderful stay in Salinas

5 of 5
My family and I spent a week in Paul's apartment, and we were thrilled with everything. The apartment is spacious and clean, and the view is spectacular from the balcony. I found both Paul and Jaime, the property manager, to be wonderful to deal with -- quick to respond with good information. Jaime was also extremely responsive to our needs once we arrived. It's great to have that kind of service available. The only thing that I would note that is not for everybody is that it is right in the middle of the Malecon and that it can be noisy at night. This was not something that bothered me or my family at all, but if you feel that you need absolute silence, another place may be a better fit. I found that I was able to relax very well, in the hammock on the balcony, even with the noise going on around me. And, this happened really only on the weekend. It was barely noticeable during the week. I would recommend this apartment many times over, and I look forward to returning. Mark Odenwelder

Great Value. Right in town and close to everything

Great place. Right in town and across the street is the beach. Many great restaurants within a block....even a BBQ place!! Can be a little noises at nights, but overall, a great place to stay.

great vacation

5 of 5
Great vacation wish we could have spent more time there. The house is very nice very spacious and clean. We rented a car that in itself was a adventure. Its about 3 hrs from Guayaqul airport but well worth the ride. The house is close to Montanita and Olon.Montanita is a fun little town.We also took a ride to puerto lopez to go snorkeling at Salango Island. Also took a ride to Salinas which is about 1 1/2 from the house, beautiful beach there. Back to the house we had most of our meals on the front porch which had a very nice table to eat the great meals cooked by Gina the caretakers that live in back of the property. Her husband Daniel keep the grounds and pool very well maintained. They both were very helpful. We had arrived late and I realized I forgot to pack my toothbrush and Daniel ran out to get me one. There was a bit of a language barrier but my daughter knows some spanish and we also used the lap top to translate. Can't say enough about Gina and Daniel. There is also 3 freindly litlle dogs on the property that we all loved.Thank you Gisella
