Beautiful View!!!

5 of 5
Very much enjoyed our stay at this home! Would highly recommend if you are planning a trip to the Bellenita/Salinas area. Beautiful home on the point, and also have a private courtyard with a pool. Loved walking on the rocks at low tide and exploring the wondrous eco-systems of the ocean, and at night the sound of the ocean waves, lulling me to sleep!

Beautiful Ocean View

5 of 5
Hakuna Matata is a luxury penthouse with beautiful views of Salinas Malecon and Chipipe Beach. It is well appointed with North American amenities, well maintained and very comfortable. The listing details and pictures are accurate. There are nice views from every window. The owner is very responsive and our deposit was returned promptly. We have already recommended it to other friends. We enjoyed birding at the Equasal with Ben Haase, who can be found at the Whaling Museum. There is a good little store about 5 minutes away on the other side of the church, which is out the back gate to the right and across the park where you'll see parrots. Chipipe Beach is the best, very clean, not over crowded, canopies and chairs rent for $10 a day no matter what time you show up. Isreal, our taxi driver escorted us to the fish market in La Libertad. That is an experience not to be missed if you are interested in the local Ecuadorian lifestyle. The fish was great! We had Christmas Eve dinner at Big Ralph's. Ralph is a Londoner and it was fabulous. Look him up on Trip Advisor. We had nice ceviche and fish stew at the Sol Cafeteria right on the Malecon. If you love the beach this is a great spot. We really enjoyed our stay.
