Amazing luxury penthouse! Best location in Salinas

                    5 of 5
Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at Hakuna Matata and we will definitely go back. Very comfortable and luxurious accommodations with a view of both Malecon and chippipee beach. From the gourmet kitchen to the king size beds and beautiful en-suites, not a detail has been overlooked. The owner as well as the condo manager were not only professional and efficient, but very welcoming and accommodating! They even arranged our ground transportation, visit to the supermarket as well as guided day tour in English. I would definitely recommend Hakuna Matata penthouse to anyone planning a trip to Salinas. This was the highlight of ours :)

                    The Gold Standard Condo

                    4 of 5
The Puerta Lucia Yacht Club is the gold standard in condo living. It had excellent appointments, furnishings and a pool. A local phone was provided along with some food and spices to get your stay started. The view from the balcony was amazing. There were some issues though. Some of the Yacht club amenities were not available to us, but the owner was very generous in handling the concern. Also, shopping and restaurants are not within walking distance, but taxis are easily available by phone and inexpensive. The condo is as pictured in the ad and the owner was very prompt in his communication and responding to any questions or issues. It is a great place for a private getaway.

                    great vacation

                    5 of 5
Great vacation wish we could have spent more time there. The house is very nice very spacious and clean. We rented a car that in itself was a adventure. Its about 3 hrs from Guayaqul airport but well worth the ride. The house is close to Montanita and Olon.Montanita is a fun little town.We also took a ride to puerto lopez to go snorkeling at Salango Island. Also took a ride to Salinas which is about 1 1/2 from the house, beautiful beach there. Back to the house we had most of our meals on the front porch which had a very nice table to eat the great meals cooked by Gina the caretakers that live in back of the property. Her husband Daniel keep the grounds and pool very well maintained. They both were very helpful. We had arrived late and I realized I forgot to pack my toothbrush and Daniel ran out to get me one. There was a bit of a language barrier but my daughter knows some spanish and we also used the lap top to translate. Can't say enough about Gina and Daniel. There is also 3 freindly litlle dogs on the property that we all loved.Thank you Gisella
