Great mansion

5 of 5
this house was more then I could have hoped for. We were looking for a house for our business trip and needed 8 beds and privacy and quite for our meetings. We have gone to many different places but this home tops the list. The house staff was very willing and eager to take care of us. We decided that we wanted to make life easier so we decided to have Manny's cooking staff take care of the grocery shopping and cooking. I spoke to Manny multiple times and he was always concerned about us being happy and as far as cooking we wanted a more DR style cooking so I just told Manny what we were thinking of the main meat and he took care of the rest. The house was in the middle of a local DR neighborhood but we always felt safe and did go out for runs and walks in the local neighborhood. I would recommend this property. Thanks Manny for everything.

****Amazing Vacation House for a Great Price******

4 of 5
My family of 9 (4 adults and 5 kids) can't express enough how much we enjoyed our stay at this house. Larry, the property manager and Laz the owner, were extremely professional, accommodating and accessible when we had questions. They called us state-side before our trip to answer questions and helped us to secure transportation to/from the airport. The house was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The location was quiet, safe and private. Carmen, the hired cook and housekeeper, prepared wonderful Dominican style meals and kept the place immaculate despite the chaos our family created. She was also available to baby-sit at night, which left time for the adults to party and have grown-up fun. The beach is approximately a 10-minute walk from the house and is simply magnificent. It is not commercialized at all and was very beautiful (natural). We watched the sunset and rise most days during our stay. There is also a small store on the resort to purchase food, snacks and beer and liquor at a very reasonable price. The pool area was amazing. The gazebo provided a great space for the whole family to relax and BBQ during the day and at night. The house also sits in a very nice 18-hole golf course community, which on the days the guys played, it was never too crowded or backed up. The one critic we have was the distance and cost to travel to the city, which we did frequently. That said, Larry arranged a driver who provided safe transportation whenever we needed. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing location in the Dominican Republic that is on the beach and has a great golf course and private pool, I would recommend this house and resort. We definitely plan to come back. Given the price and quality of accommodations, it certainly beats our other family vacations... Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Dubai and Hawaii. (all of which were double to quadruple the price and some did not offer as equal accommodations)
