                  Incredibly beautiful!

                  5 of 5
This property has everything except the food. You will never want to leave!! Talk about relaxing and completely disconnecting from the world. You are out in the middle of no where. The views are spectacular from any and every view of the house!! Like many other reviews, the drive into the area is rough so definitely consider an SUV or an off-road vehicle. Other good tip, bring your own groceries!! Stop at the supermarket in Samana BEFORE heading towards the house. If you're not familiar with the area, it can be a bit of a drive so save yourself the trips and stock up on groceries prior to arriving at the house. There is NO air conditioning in this house, so pack light. Besides, you'll be at the beach and the pool all day so you won't really need much. There is a nice breeze during the day, but at night it can get really hot, however the rooms do have ceiling fans so you'll be ok. Being that this house is in such a REMOTE location, there will be bugs... LOTS of bugs in all shapes, sizes, colors, flying buys, crawling bugs. Being Dominicans, we're used to them, but for foreigners, be warned! The beaches nearby are out of this world gorgeous!!!! Strongly recommend you drive over to Playa Rincon. Talk about one of the most stunning untouched beaches ever. The locals are amazing!! Coco frio (Fresh coconut water), fresh fish, fresh lobster, fresh everything! Take a boat ride up the river and dive right in to cool off! With that being said, major kudos and thanks to Yocasty for her excellent communication prior to the trip and for warmly welcoming us to the house. She made our vacation more enjoyable. We had 2 major issues which she addressed and resolved to our liking! So once again, thank you Yocasty!! To the property staff, Gerardo, Lizania, Yamiris, Raul and others, thank you!! They were very attentive and helped with everything including a small wedding that we had at the house. In closing, this house has it all. If you want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you. Bring the sunblock, bathing suits, shorts and flip flops and leave everything else behind! If I could live in this house, I 100% would!!

                  Beautiful retreat!

                  5 of 5
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this stunning property! The views from the verandas, pool, and gazebo were spectacular. We took advantage of the private pool and kayaking from the secluded beach, and we listened to the ocean every night as we went to sleep. Richard and Anna were extremely helpful and accommodating, and were readily available for questions and assistance. Richard was kind enough to arrange a private boat to transport us from our private pier to Los Haitises National Park, and he graciously accompanied us as tour guide and translator. We also really enjoyed their three dogs Tito, Tita, and Wendy! Unfortunately, we only saw Bambu the caretaker briefly once as he was away most of that week. We would definitely recommend this rental. If you're looking for luxury accommodations you should probably try a resort, but if you're looking for a private home with spectacular views, this is a great option.
