If you're not a golfer...consider bypassing. Nice house; mediocre everything else

4 of 5
The house was huge...and nicely kept. Equipped with dishes, appliances, and towels, but no other amenities, like trash bags, paper towels, or any of the usual kitchen necessities like I've seen in other rentals. It appeared this was a relatively new property. The coffee maker and grill looked brand new. Had no idea where to put trash out...couldn't get a hold of property manager on weekend. WIFI and TV worked great. Pool was well maintained and nice. Water heaters are controlled by a switch. Not intuitive, so be sure to ask. If you're not a golfer, this may not be the ideal spot for you...golfing is pretty much the only attraction in the resort. No gym, one or two restaurants, spa is basically a beauty salon with a massage room. Nearby grocery and shopping, but not really walking distance. Suggest renting a car if you want to go to beach and bounce around town. We were able to rent one for about $20 a day (including mandatory insurance). Property seems to be pet friendly. Saw lots of dogs and some cats.

Excellent time in Punta Cana

5 of 5
I travelled to Punta Cana in March of 2015 with about 18 or so friends to stay here. We're all young, so definitely wasn't a family or with-kids kind of trip as many other reviewers have mentioned. Nonetheless, the house was perfect. The staff is incredibly attentive. The food was very good, the cleaning very thorough, and everyone was courteous and professional. The house is about a 10 minute walk to the beach via a golf cart pathway. The airport is very, very close which made coming and going a breeze. The facilities at the club were also great. Overall, an incredible stay and would recommend with no hesitation.

Dream family vacation

5 of 5
We just returned from a 11 night stay here and it was fabulous. The villa itself is amazing (the website doesn't begin to do it justice) and I can't imagine a better location. You are about 20 steps down to the private beach for all the Corales villas. Most of the time there was no one on the beach. Only once did I see more than 10 people (excluding our group). A great spot for kids. There are plenty of shallow areas in the private pools & a great yard to run in. There are 6 bedrooms. 4 have king beds. One has two double/queen beds. A final bedroom has two double beds and two "kid sized" twin beds in a loft. There were also baby cribs & extra twin mattresses we used to sleep toddlers with their parents. The staff is lovely & make sure you have a relaxing stay without interfering. None of the staff on-site speak English well, so it is essential that at least one person in your party speak Spanish well Definitely rent at least one car. The butler & staff use your rental car to get groceries, etc, so you may find it helpful to have multiple cars. Our group wasn't really focused on leaving the villa to do things and we still found several occasions when more cars would have been useful. Beyond the private beach & potentially the Corales golf course nothing is in walking distance. You will also need a lot of cash (DR pesos) for groceries & tips unless you would always go with the staff to the grocery store. I think we left the villa most frequently to go to an ATM. Our extended family, aged 1-72 all had an amazing time. We would love to return & highly recommend it.
