Great QUIET getaway!

5 of 5
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights after Panic en la Playa at the Hard Rock. The two resorts couldn't be more different, in a good way ;) Come prepared with groceries (water, food, booze, munchies), you can buy basics at the convenience store onsite. If you're going to stay on the property (condo/pool) do the all inclusive it'll save you a lot money eating and drinking (drinks $7-$15 each, lunch $30, dinner $50-$100 for two). The all inclusive is and extra $80 per person. The condo was SUPER clean, comfortable and well taken care of. There are two large pools and a small beach at the end of the marina. I would suggest to rent an electric car/golf cart so you can check out the different resorts/beaches within Cap Cana. The best beaches are across the inlet and at the Sanctuary Resort (not walkable but close, let them know you're visiting friends staying at the Sanctuary if they ask at the gate). If you're looking for a happening party this is not for you, but if you want to unwind and enjoy a peaceful quiet getaway this is it! Great travel experience! Thanks Ricardo! p.s. Ricardo is great to work with and quick to communicate!

PERFECT

5 of 5
Our second vacation at Stanza Mare was even better than the first. Once again dealing with Cesar was very pleasant and efficient. The condo on the second floor provided a comfy bed and all the kitchen necessities. Quiet and bug free. The ever present breeze meant we only used the ceiling fans never needing to turn on the A/C. The groundskeeping staff, office personnel and security at the front gate and the beach are all great at what they do. With 3 small grocery stores within a 5 minute walk offering meats, cheese and deli items and a fresh fruit and veggie truck parked down the street every thing we needed for the month was easy to come by. Neighbourhood restaurants didn't disappoint either. Nam Nams sandwiches, salads and burgers are outstanding. Balicana's appy platter and Pad Thai were delicious and the grounds and gardens are beautiful. Di Angelos has awesome pizza eat in or take out. As far as the beach and pool area are concerned the word PERFECT is truly an accurate description. We would recommend this condo without hesitation.

Beautiful location, spacious and comfortable.

5 of 5
Our group of nine had a "pre-game" 5-night stay here before a four-night stay for a concert run at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana. The value and price for the location, space and privacy would be extremely hard to beat. We had a group of nine and everyone had plenty of space. The upstairs master bedroom with beach/ocean views out shuttered windows was particularly nice. The sound of waves crashing is all you hear at night from the main house. The overflow outbuilding where we slept was not quite as nice, and the septic system created a terrible smell in the outbuilding bathroom which you could also smell from the bedroom. The outbuilding shower drain was clogged upon arrival and was not up to standards you might expect traveling elsewhere. Coupled with a busted a/c, the outbuilding could stand some improvements to increase guests comfort. The caretaker Santiago was pleasant and accommodating. He even went so far to obtain a local pig from a family farm for us and assist with an authentic beachside pig roast, a priceless experience. If you speak Spanish, Santiago can give you all the local information you would ever need. The beach location is stellar. The river flowing to the ocean just a fifteen minute walk down the beach is a great spot. You can watch the sunrise over the ocean a short stroll in the other direction. Having your own private beach and house next door to where everyone else is paying exorbitant all inclusive fees for shared beach access is pretty sweet, you can't beat it. The kitchen was fine, our chef brought his own tools and fed us like royalty on locally sourced foods and the patio/covered common area were wonderful for group meals. Santiago kept the backyard immaculate and the grounds made a killer LED bocce ball court at night and Frisbee field at daytime. You can stroll to and from the house and the beach in bare feet all day long, no hurries no worries. The Wi-Fi is a mobile hotspot and was spotty and slow, but it did work. Overall our group was extremely happy with our experience but ready to move onto our "posher" accommodations at the Hard Rock upon the final morning. The house could accommodate a few more people than our group of nine but depending on the group might get a bit crowded after that. We would definitely book a future trip. Villijant was gracious, professional and easy to work with, communicative and responsive throughout the whole process of booking internationally.
