We will be back next year, Lord willing.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved this place, Playa Turquesa! The property is perfect, location great and most of the other guest are very friendly. The unit A401 was lovely. It had just about everything you could or would need, except a potato peeler and rubber spatula. And I mean everything, those are the only two items that I needed. There was plenty of utensils, towels, sheets, you name it and the apartment had it. We loved the location near both groceries stores, restaurant row, night life, pizza, produce market, liquor warehouse. One of the best parts was we met Christian(a Romanian guy)and Rocio on the beach, they have a tour boat, great trip, they were able to get us fresh fish when ever we wanted and had it delivered. This was our third trip to Turquesa and we plan to return. Next time I will look for a place there that does not charge a booking fee. There are, I think, 200 apartments and different people handle some units, so there is not a set billing for all units. You can't beat the weather 85 and sunny. If you go there look for Ray and Carol, they are from Michigan and now live at Turquesa permanently. They can tell you anything you want to know about the area. Great people.

The condo is exactly as the photos show it is, with full marina views. It is VERY spacious, quiet, relaxing and a beautiful/well maintained unit. Ricardo was extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. We would definitely rent this condo again!!!

Big Rooms, Warm Weather, Lots of Sun

4 of 5
Bob and Leslie where great. They sent is all the information we could have possibly needed and then some. They were very responsive and we felt very comfortable being first time VRBO users. We talked to a few other people at the resort and they paid more for the room and the daily all inclusive rate. The price is hard to beat! The resort is beautiful and safe. You arrive to a gated and guarded resort, and are dropped off right where you need to check in. The process was pretty easy and straight forward. We arrived around noon and although check in wasn't until 3 I believe, hey gave us our wrist bands and we where able to go and eat and get drinks and they kept our bags. We had a 3 bedroom villa, facing the pool. There where some issues with the room, but overall it was spacious and clean. The freezer was frozen inside so the fridge stayed warm. We requested to have it fixed 3-4 times, but no one ever came. One of the master bathroom sinks didn't drain well, and we had some trouble with flushing toilets. Overall nothing that really bothered us. The bracelets we had to wear where kind of obnoxious. Food: My husband and I are big food people. We visited all 3 restaurants and all where good. Kimono was our favorite. The buffet sometimes felt like the selection was limited but quality was always there. If you order one of there MANY super yummy frozen drinks, asked for extra alcohol. I think they might make them weak intentionally so people don't pass out in the sun. The white wine they had was really good. The beach cabanas are AWESOME. With that being said, you have to get them early! You don't call in, just walk down and put stuff on them either super early (6am) or really late the night before. There are people who walk down the beach selling stuff. Find the guy who sells coconuts, buy one, order a shot of rum and enjoy :) Only real negative I could think of is most of the staff speaks mainly Spanish and very little English. Some staff where better than others, but there where only a few times we couldn't articulate what we needed and got something other than what we asked for. Also, they will try to ask you if you are interested in buying a membership at the hotel, we said no thank you and they didn't bother us the rest of the trip. Just be nice but firm.
