Our family (2 adults, 2 children age 5 and 10) stayed in La Villa for 8 nights during our children's March Break. La Villa is as you see in the pictures, bright, modern and exceptionally clean. The location is quiet, yet close enough to town that restaurants and beaches are only 5 minutes by car. We would lounge around the pool in the morning and then spend the afternoons at Playa Coson approximately a 12 min drive away. We have been to many places in the Caribbean and Central America and have not found an area we enjoyed more. We found the area to be safe and had no experiences in the Samana peninsula that left us feeling uneasy. Alain and Natasha were excellent hosts and made themselves available for whatever questions we had. The house does come with a concierge (Pierre), housekeeper and night security. Pierre (speaks french and spanish) was at the house available all day and was a pleasure to have around. The house would be ideal for larger groups or couples looking to 'get away'. We ate out most evenings and found the food to be very good. There are grocery stores (2, one french, one North American style) which we found to be excellent. Driving around the towns is not for the timid, but is not as difficult as you may think, you just need to look in several directions at once. The main roads are very uncrowded and in excellent condition. We, including our children, really had no complaints during our stay and time in Las Terrenas and look forward to returning. One final note: This is the Caribbean however, so one needs to remain flexible and 'go with the flow', which to be honest is part of the charm of Las Terrenas and other locations like it.

Fantastic Stay in Las Terrenas!!

5 of 5
We had a great stay in Las Terrenas at the condo. A wonderful location, close to the beach and the pool. Very serene. It was beautifully maintained and decorated, updated amenities and features with attention to every detail. I can't even describe how wonderful the staff was. We had a medical emergency on the first day and ALL of the staff did not hesitate in the least to help us. They were amazing!! Stephanie was so incredibly helpful and kind and went out of her way to make our stay wonderful. Georgette responded to all of my emails so promptly, we had no issues with any of the process. She also called us during our stay to make sure we were ok and refunded our deposit before we even checked out! Franco was so sweet and helpful with our kids and ordering food. We would definitely return to the condo or any property that Georgette and Stephanie manage! Thank you!

Perfection!

5 of 5
Where do I even begin? From start to finish, our experience at Casa Coco was off the charts awesome. Working with Leo and the house manager was seamless from when I first made contact about renting the house to when we left for the airport to come home. We were a group of 8 adults and a baby and we had more than enough space in the house. Casa Coco is beautiful, extremely well appointed, and has everything you need for a relaxing and special week. The house is very private and in a lovely gated community. We felt very safe and secure throughout our stay. Having the wonderful housekeepers there made us feel like we really were on an amazing break from it all. Town is just a short 10-15 minute ride away and the local house manager arranged for a taxi for us to go in for dinner which worked out extremely well. As for the proximity to the beach - it truly is a short (less than 5 minute) walk. And the beach was spectacular. I was with a group of self-professed "beach snobs" and we all agreed that this was one of the most beautiful beaches we had ever seen. Private, lovely, warm waters, soft sand - truly a piece of paradise. Having access to the hotel next door and their beach chairs was such a nice bonus. All you have to do is grab a towel, your sunscreen, a book and you are ready to relax. From the people to the place, this was a perfect vacation. We feel lucky to have found Casa Coco and can't wait to go back!!!
