WOWOW TOTAL RELAXING WITH PICTURE PERFECT BEACHES

5 of 5
At the point of upset and being 4 1/2 hours late due to airlines.......things changed when lillybeth had met us at 1000 pm, cheering us with a big smile and hola hehe, with a elevator and once settled in the apartmant with blasting chilled aircons...the apartment was in excellent condition with a view and comforts of home....things looked much better.....to relax the next day driving around juan dolio , finding beaches and more beaches...made you wonder why leave..smiles of people trying to speak english while you try to speak spanish hehe,,,,,,but it got even better the more you drove to discover la romana resorts.....with views you only find on tv, 1600 acers of completeness, things you dont expect to find in DR....but something in the rich and famous hehee.............a return trip is worth to stay at the apartment.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!

5 of 5
Everything was better than the description! We were impressed with the beauty of the place, the security around us, the perfection of the apartment. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of to make us feel relaxed from the moment we arrived. Once we dropped our bags and sat on the balcony, there was nothing else we wanted to do but to look out and enjoy that magnificently calm Caribbean sea. We spent two weeks trying to find some flaw to awaken us from the mirage and couldn't find one. We have already recommended this apartment to friends and family and look forward to spending a month instead of two weeks next time we visit. There is a row or restaurants across the Boulevard to eat out or order in. Just a couple of blocks away there is a beautiful chapel open once a week for Mass (we're not Catholic, but this tiny place is full of outstanding Old-World art and worth a visit). The condo staff are all young, willing, able, smiling, helpful. The truth is that we spent most of our time at home, enjoying the view and eating local food. The owner of this property has done a superb job combining ease with high-end style and anticipating any need his guests may have. I had to smile any time someone from the staff told me "The beach is so full today!". That meant there were about 20 people around instead of maybe four. If you are looking for peace and quiet in a very secure, well maintained environment, this is the place for you. If you want more of the local flavor, all you need to do is cross the street and walk around the Boulevard and the adjacent streets. To change pace, Santo Domingo is less than one hour away to the West and the art colony Altos de Chavón is about the same distance to the East. In Juan Dolio proper, we ate at "El Sueño", an excellent Italian restaurant. In Santo Domingo we had drinks and great food at "La Correa Bajita" an eclectic place on Padre Billini Street in the Colonial Zone. All in all, this trip was a success because of the great environment, the attention to detail, and the anticipation of all our needs by the owner of this superb apartment. It will be our pleasure to return to such a well-maintained, beautiful, relaxing and healing place. Thanks to the owner and his very capable manager, my husband was able to relax after some tense days in hospital and we both were able to enjoy two weeks of sheer tranquility surrounded by beauty. I cannot stress enough how perfect this place is.

VERY NICE

Hello. I had a very nice stay at the Marbella. The condo is very clean, nice and comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean. The Marbella is in a safe neighborhood with restaurants and its only 20min from the airport and 40min from Santo Domingo. I highly recommend this condo.
