A home in the middle of paradise

5 of 5
We certainly had a great stay at Balcones del Atlántico, this is a beautiful, secure and peaceful property, filled with a splendid tropical landscapes. Taking a nice stroll, you’ll find yourself enjoying the pleasant tropical breeze and discovering the many tempting pools in the area, that will make think about taking a splash along the way. Las Terrenas is a gorgeous town with beautiful palm beaches, framed with mountains and tasty places, where you will enjoy the vast amount of different food offerings in this painteresque escaped. To discover all this beauty and fascinating town, there was no better place to stay at Emma’s (owner) apartment in Balcones. The apartment is strategically positioned at the far end of the largest pool, so you have a beautiful view of the pool and sizable part of the property from its open and large terrace. It is a perfect place to hang out or recover from a day at the beach or riding four wheels, along with the many amenities found in the apartment. It has TV with a good selection of channel, free WiFi connection, air-conditioned rooms and lounge areas, a full equipped kitchen, two dining tables and a place to relax on the terrace, two large air-conditioned bedrooms (one king bed and two queen beds) with their respective bathrooms and a small bedroom (twin bed) with bathroom. This is like been home in the middle of paradise, highly recommend it. Emma is a great tenant, very helpful and friendly person.

Best Value

4 of 5
Best value for the money. Quiet, clean and good customer service. The housekeepers are very friendly and there to help. The mountain view in the back of the building view is beautiful and peaceful. People pass by on horses early in the morning :) The family restaurants in the area close early, plan ahead.

Excellent Adventure!

5 of 5
The villa was an amazing retreat to come home to after adventuring throughout Las Terrenas. The 2nd floor covered balcony provided an awesome view; the pool was so relaxing; the kitchen area was ample; the foliage was breathtaking. Our stay would not have been as comfortable or fun without the personal attention of Frito - who made it his mission to show us all the sites, sounds and flavor of the island - he truly made our trip an excellent adventure! We really enjoyed zip-lining and the horseback ride to the waterfall. We enjoyed eating in several discreet locations we wouldn't have found without Frito's guidance. We enjoyed the trip to the state park - and the local shopping and bakery. Would return in a heart beat.
