We spent 5 nights from 29th June to 4th July 2014 at this Condo and could not fault anything. This is a comfortable property, with a well equipped kitchen, lovely big bed and 2 bathrooms. The large balcony was lovely to sit out on and enjoy a cool breeze with a lovely view of the sea and the water cooler was a lovely touch, thereby giving us plenty of cold water. There is a lot of thought gone in to this condo, toilet paper supplied, paper towel for the kitchen and hand wash so you don’t have to rush out and buy everything. Towels are supplied and even some towels for the beach. You really don’t need to bring anything except your personal toiletries and sun cream. A mobile phone was even provided so that we could contact the owner and for any local calls – amazing service.
We stayed in a couple of nights and cooked and watched a DVD (big selection supplied) and just relaxed. The on-site supermarket/grocery store is adequate and very handy. The pools were very quiet when we there and we had no trouble getting a bed on the beach; where there was plenty of water sports going on.
I can highly recommend the Palma Real Shopping Centre with a great selection of designer shops and good restaurants. The “Outback” (Australian Restaurant) does mouth-watering food and can highly recommend the chicken and ribs and steak. There was also a Hard Rock Café but we didn’t try that. There is also a cinema if you fancy that. You can walk there, but we took a taxi about $10 each way.
I have stayed in Punta Cana at Resorts twice before and this was much much more relaxing – we are converted from hotels. Get up when you want, eat when you want, stay in or go out.
We used the services of Alex for transport to and from the airport all arranged by our lovely host Liz. It was lovely to have him waiting for me, he is lovely man and his English is excellent.
We would highly recommend the Condo and Liz as a property owner, who answered all my questions quickly and is a fountain of knowledge about the area. Our deposit was refunded immediately. Thank you Liz for everything
