Beautiful home, beach, and town

5 of 5
Our group of 3 couples (early 40's), were looking for the ultimate location to unwind and have fun. We found that and more at Baywatch! Upon arrival we discovered that the house, surrounding area, and amenities were as listed. The grounds and the house are very well kept. The cleaner came every day, and some days we just asked for clean towels and sent her on her way. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom, which was nice. And the property is large enough that there were many spots you could get away if you wanted alone time. We were a 10min, inexpensive, cab ride to get groceries. We only needed to call Jose and he would promptly pick us up, wait for us, then drive us back to the house. Pretty much anything you want for groceries can be found. We shopped at Janet's, which has good selection with prices I would compare to CDN grocery costs. We spent some time walking the beach and watching the amazing kites. There are also restaurants, shops and bars down the beach, which is about a 15min walk. Lots to choose from and great food/music. The customer service provided by the property team was fantastic. Extremely friendly and quick to respond. We would recommend this property to others without hesitation. You will not be disappointed!

Lived in the country for a year, this is the best house

5 of 5
I've been living in the Dominican Republic for almost a year for work. My colleagues and I came back here in October (tried to review earlier but it didn't post for some reason.) We've been to Cabarete several times and travelled all over the country, and trust me Villa Flamingo is one of the best places. Frank was very responsive and accommodating. The house staff was courteous and professional. The house is a great place from which to explore the amazing town of Cabarete. We'll be back soon!

Amazing rooftop, clean, beautiful beach steps away

5 of 5
I've rented vacation homes in Virginia Beach before, and stayed in Airbnb's around the world, and I have to say this house was one of the nicest places I've stayed in! The house was spotless and clean, which is always a main concern for me at hotels and rentals. Usually you can notice the wear and tear at even the best hotels, but everything in the house not only looked new, also had great design. The house was huge and offered lots of amenities, but it had something most places don't, a private rooftop deck big enough for entertaining! The rooftop deck had everything including a jacuzzi with views of the ocean, a bathroom and bar, a brick BBQ grill, a full dining room table overlooking palm trees, and lounge chairs / beds for star gazing. We saw over 20 shooting stars in one night! The rooftop deck was so great that we spent more time there than on the actual beach, which is only steps away. As far as the rest of the house, the kitchen had all the amenities of a modern home, there are 3 main bedrooms, two have have balconies with views of the ocean and all had well lit bathrooms with natural sunlight and views of palm trees. Yes the DR is a tropical paradise! They had TVs everywhere but I'm not sure why you'd want to watch TV in this paradise, so they should get rid of those. Also the walls are made of solid concrete or something, so there's a lot of privacy in the bedrooms with you're traveling with a large group. Though what you gain from noise insulation you lose with a little weaker wifi signal on the top floor, but that's no problem because the wifi works perfect on the first floor.
