Little slice of heaven

5 of 5
This was our second stay at Glenn's home and it was truly wonderful. As soon as I arrive here, the world just slows down and I marvel at the peaceful nature all around. My family and I came here to celebrate my mother's birthday and everyone has such a great time because it is so relaxed and everyone can do what they want - from taking a stroll on the beach and looking for shells, to fishing from the shore, enjoying the sunrise from deck, or sipping a glass of wine in the hot tub. But probably my favorite memory from this trip was all of us sitting by the fire pit roasting marshmallows and just enjoying each other's company. One night we ordered food from Abbott's Grill in Milford which was delicious! They have a varied selection of options, so there is something for everyone there. I had steamed shrimp and a lobster roll - YUM! The accommodations are even better than the pictures do it justice. Extremely clean, open, and nicely decorated. Glenn has thought of EVERYTHING, so if you are not sure if you should bring something, ask him first, because it is probably already provided at this cottage. My two-year-old loved playing on the beach with all of the sand toys that he has. Glenn really is the embodiment of "the host with the most." He gets back to you very quickly with any questions you have and goes above and beyond. My family and I have been to a few rentals listed in HomeAway and this one is far and away the best because of the location, the house, and the owner. Thanks again, Glenn, for opening up your home to us!

Relaxing, Enjoyable Get Away

5 of 5
Our group was able to use this home to house 20 women for a fall retreat. It was phenomenal. All the accommodations were great, and the house is decorated and furnished so well, we lacked for nothing! The quiet solace of the location is what always encourages me, and I just LOVED sitting in the sunroom, watching nature all around, and of course hearing, breathing and enjoying the vistas of the amazing bay! A wonderful time was had by all and everyone loved the house. With three baths, there was never a wait for bathroom time, despite all the guests, and the kitchen was furnished with all we needed. There were towels and linens, not to mention movies, books, hot tub, and plenty of activities to keep us all entertained. We are so grateful to have this opportunity and this wonderful place to get away, relax, and enjoy this wonderful, inviting home and the peace and quiet afforded by the fabulous location on the water! Can't wait to get time to come back again!

Fantastic place!

5 of 5
What an adorable, perfect place for a low key, unfussy vacation. The house is one level, 2 bedrooms, cozy living space and kitchen, and narrow wrap around enclosed back porch. Big bonus--about 50 paces to the water. Painted wood floors, old school windows and central air help make this house a charming place to stay. We spent time with the child building sand castles, swimming, wandering out beach combing during low tide, resting on the beach and stargazing at night. Fenced in back yard is perfect for the dogs. So easy. So low key. So quiet. Also, a quick drive to Rehoboth if you want something a bit more lively with larger waves, which we did 2 of the 5 days. Don't forget your towels and sheets, though! Bedrooms are both nicely sized. The kitchen is small, so if you want to do any large scale cooking, you probably should think twice. We used the grill a lot, and boiled corn and had veggies from the local summer farm stands. These 3 humans and 2 dogs found this place a perfect vacation spot.
