Truly a home away from home

4 of 5
Glenn was a wonderful host. He met us at the door and was gracious and kind. His stocks his home with every convenience anyone could want. The house was beautiful and spotless. The only reason this rating has only 4stars is the beach itself. The water here is really too shallow to swim. Our dogs, however, loved it! For humans, the beach at Rehobath is close, so if you want a dip on the ocean, it's easy enough. It was all we expected and more

Fantastic place!

5 of 5
What an adorable, perfect place for a low key, unfussy vacation. The house is one level, 2 bedrooms, cozy living space and kitchen, and narrow wrap around enclosed back porch. Big bonus--about 50 paces to the water. Painted wood floors, old school windows and central air help make this house a charming place to stay. We spent time with the child building sand castles, swimming, wandering out beach combing during low tide, resting on the beach and stargazing at night. Fenced in back yard is perfect for the dogs. So easy. So low key. So quiet. Also, a quick drive to Rehoboth if you want something a bit more lively with larger waves, which we did 2 of the 5 days. Don't forget your towels and sheets, though! Bedrooms are both nicely sized. The kitchen is small, so if you want to do any large scale cooking, you probably should think twice. We used the grill a lot, and boiled corn and had veggies from the local summer farm stands. These 3 humans and 2 dogs found this place a perfect vacation spot.

Gorgeous home on quiet beachfront property!

This home was terrific! Gorgeously decorated and very well equiped with all the amenitites we needed. Beautiful view of the water and easy access to the beach. We will definitely return as soon as possible.
