OUR AMAZING STAY AT 7B

5 of 5
My husband and I went to Marazul Dive Resort for our honeymoon. When we got to the resort, it was dark out, but we were impressed how close 7B condo was to the ocean. We spent our first night, smelling the salty air of the ocean playing cards on the 2nd floor deck off the bedroom, excited to see our view in the morning. When we woke up the next morning, our breath was taken away by the clear, bright blue ocean and cool breeze of the morning air. We spent most our mornings enjoying coffee on the patio off of the family room, and the afternoons traveling in our reliable rental car to all the beautiful beaches, and sitting at the resorts’ pool about 100 feet from 7B. Our favorite beaches were: Cas Abou and Grote Knip. Cas Abou was especially nice because of the tiki huts available for shade, and also a bar with drinks and food available. Our evenings were spent walking to Rancho El Sobrino where we talked with the local waiting staff, and trying out all the restaurants Cindy recommended. We had a blast seeing the culture of the island, talking with the multilingual locals. We talk very highly about Marazul Dive Resort for many reasons. We appreciated the quiet atmosphere of Marazul vs. Willemstad. The beaches in Marazul were beautiful with white sand and calm waters. The snorkeling, site seeing, and cliff jumping in Marazul was breathtaking. The Dive Resort is a locked condo complex, and you feel very safe and well taken care of. The friendly manager walks around in the mornings to check on guests, and to make sure they have everything they need, and give them advice on interesting places to visit. The view from 7B couldn’t be any more perfect, and the way it is decorated truly brings you to paradise. The pull out couch on the first floor comfortably fits two people, and there is plenty of sitting area for other couples to join for a game, or for visiting. We also loved sitting on the patio on 7B enjoying the wildlife. Cindy was helpful, honest, and reliable. She consistently answers e-mails promptly and was incredibly informative of the island and nice places to visit. The description of our condo was right on, and pictures are beautiful but the real life space is even more beautiful! The space was clean and well kept. We will surely be visiting Marazul dive resort and will rent from Cindy again. We truly have nothing negative to say about our experience in 7B at Marazul Dive Resort in Curacao. Amazing experience!

GREAT VACATION

5 of 5
After just returning from our vacation in Curacao at Piscadera Bay I would like to say we had a great time. The listing description was right on and the photos were really great. There is a real nice view from the rear balcony and it was nice to sit and watch the sunsets while sipping a cocktail and just relaxing. The property was very clean and very nicely maintained. The kitchen area was all you needed with plenty of things you would use to make a meal. We ate there for lunch every day after a morning of diving which is really great. The dive shop we used was very good and is located a short distance from the condo. We rented a car and ate dinner out each day. When I had a question about anything the owner was very helpful and we used most of the info in finding restaurants, our diving and the food market. If I ever go back to Curacao, and I hope to some day, I will use this condo again and I will recommend it to any of my friends who would like a nice relaxing vacation spot and I know they would have a great time

CASA SABLICA IS OUR NEW "DUSHI"!!

5 of 5
We arrived at Casa Sablica to be met with smiles, warm welcomes and a very refreshing cold beverage by both Jan and Marcia! As well as a basket with Curacaoan coffee, sugar and a special koek just for the Dutch in me; along with a few essentials in the fridge we would need for the morning. Their personal touch is something we will always remember! We were then given a great tour of the house and were continually in awe of the amount of space! The screened in porches and decks offer a great place to sit and enjoy every view of the surrounding area and are able to listen to the sounds of the birds which are always singing in the trees. The sunsets a person can see off the upstairs rear deck can be quite breath taking! The pictures of the house, although really great, in our opinion, to see it in person is even better! The house is exceptionally clean and the cleaning staff are both friendly and very personable. We found this house after quite a bit of research on Curacao rental properties and decided this would be a quiet and restful place for the two of us to spend a week celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The amount of information that Jan and Marcia have compiled in a book for visitors is very thorough and the maps they include were very useful and helpful. Especially for a couple of Western Canadians who don't speak Dutch! (yet!) We didn't eat at any of the recommended restaurants, only because we wanted to experience as much of the culture as we could. Instead we shopped for groceries at Albert Heijn, a very good store with a very large selection and friendly staff that are willing to help! Navigating the streets of the island can be a little challenging but with a good map that we purchased at the book store that Jan and Marcia recommended it does make it a little easier. We travelled to Punda for shopping on a few of our days on the island and although we bought our fair share, we found the local markets on the Otrabanda side of the Queen Emma bridge to be a bit less expensive than on the Punda side - just our opinion. We also travelled to the Aloe Vera Plantation and were welcomed by a very kind and humourous guide; and had a most enjoyable tour of the plantation! We also drove to Mt. Christophell National Park and took the driving tour in the car we rented and this is a MUST visit sight! Overall we went to Curacao to rest and relax and Casa Sablica truly delivered! We will be back and recommend it to all! Clark & Wendy Rasmussen
