Honeymoon retreat in Curacao

5 of 5
We loved staying at Gretta's condo while honeymooning in Curacao. The place was clean and well-maintained. We had all the tools to make delicious meals. The grounds were beautiful as well. It was amazing to walk down the stone steps and snorkel from our back door. The condo was also in a good location - away from the hustle and bustle, and close to the small beaches with amazing snorkeling.

Our Amazing Stay at 7B

5 of 5
My husband and I went to Marazul Dive Resort for our honeymoon. When we got to the resort, it was dark out, but we were impressed how close 7B condo was to the ocean. We spent our first night, smelling the salty air of the ocean playing cards on the 2nd floor deck off the bedroom, excited to see our view in the morning. When we woke up the next morning, our breath was taken away by the clear, bright blue ocean and cool breeze of the morning air. We spent most our mornings enjoying coffee on the patio off of the family room, and the afternoons traveling in our reliable rental car to all the beautiful beaches, and sitting at the resorts’ pool about 100 feet from 7B. Our favorite beaches were: Cas Abou and Grote Knip. Cas Abou was especially nice because of the tiki huts available for shade, and also a bar with drinks and food available. Our evenings were spent walking to Rancho El Sobrino where we talked with the local waiting staff, and trying out all the restaurants Cindy recommended. We had a blast seeing the culture of the island, talking with the multilingual locals. We talk very highly about Marazul Dive Resort for many reasons. We appreciated the quiet atmosphere of Marazul vs. Willemstad. The beaches in Marazul were beautiful with white sand and calm waters. The snorkeling, site seeing, and cliff jumping in Marazul was breathtaking. The Dive Resort is a locked condo complex, and you feel very safe and well taken care of. The friendly manager walks around in the mornings to check on guests, and to make sure they have everything they need, and give them advice on interesting places to visit. The view from 7B couldn’t be any more perfect, and the way it is decorated truly brings you to paradise. The pull out couch on the first floor comfortably fits two people, and there is plenty of sitting area for other couples to join for a game, or for visiting. We also loved sitting on the patio on 7B enjoying the wildlife. Cindy was helpful, honest, and reliable. She consistently answers e-mails promptly and was incredibly informative of the island and nice places to visit. The description of our condo was right on, and pictures are beautiful but the real life space is even more beautiful! The space was clean and well kept. We will surely be visiting Marazul dive resort and will rent from Cindy again. We truly have nothing negative to say about our experience in 7B at Marazul Dive Resort in Curacao. Amazing experience!

Sweet little gem in Westpunt

5 of 5
This was a fantastic property! We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Curaçao...and we will be back! The property was comfortable for our group of three. There is a hide a bed downstairs and a bedroom upstairs with a balcony, which has a lovely view. The house was very clean and the size was quite comfortable for our family. Definitely do your grocery shopping in Willemstad before heading out to Westpunt, (great suggestion by our hosts) more choice and will save you some money. Our hosts Steve and Linda just happened to be there a few doors down from us and anything we needed or questions we had, they were easy to talk to, friendly and approachable. They even gave us some of their Lionfish catch, which was delicious! A rental car is a must if you stay in Westpunt as it is not close to Willemstad and you will need it to get to beaches, restaurants and for general sightseeing. This was a great spot, we loved the location because it was relaxing and quiet, and that's exactly what we were looking for. Thank you Steve and Linda for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable, we loved our stay at Marazul and would highly recommend.
