WOW!!!! Incredible Curacao vacation rental property

This property is everything it advertises and much more. We've been visiting Curacao for several years now and have stayed in homes from Westpunt to St. Willibrordus. Coral Estates is a great central location, being close to grocery/shopping and the best beaches on Curacao. The casita is extremely well appointed with fantastic outdoor spaces and seating overlooking the ocean, the kitchen provides everything you need to cook and serve meals including an outdoor BBQ, spacious bathroom, 2 comfortable bedrooms with one king and one queen, plenty of closet and storage space, all the bath and kitchen linens and beach towels you need, separate building that houses the laundry room with washer/dryer, coolers, and beach chairs. We were met upon arrival by the very helpful and friendly property representative/housekeeper and oriented to the entire property being that no one was in residence in the main house. As a fantastic bonus, we were offered the use of everything the entire estate had to offer including the entire outdoor space, pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen/bar/BBQ since the main house wasn't occupied during our stay. Housekeeping was provided every 5 days. We would definitely rent this home again.

We'd stay here again!

The house was lovely, clean and comfortable, just as presented. We like a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of town. If that is what you are looking for, this is the place. This is our 5th rental in the Caribbean and yes we would recommend this house. The community is peaceful, secure, and the shrubbery around the house gives you all the privacy you need. As stated, the main living area is not air conditioned, but we got used to it. The back sliding doors open fully to the pool-patio area, and as the owner recommends, we opened the front door for an effective breeze; it is almost like living outside, and it takes a little getting used to. But we enjoyed it, and given the choice, I would choose the pool over a house with all A/C. We very few bugs, even at night with the lights on. (September ). The A/C in the bedroom was nice for sleeping. The house was hot when we arrived, and it does take awhile to cool off. I recommend you plan ahead; know that you will be hot and tired when you arrive, so just get out your bathing suit and hop in the pool! Unpack later! The infinity pool, the view of paradise, what more do you need! We appreciated the well equipped kitchen, including all utensils, cleaning supplies, dishwasher, and basic condiments like salt, oil and a few spices, etc. And Gino, the property manager was helpful, not only at the house, but with island questions like where to shop, etc. Thanks Gino! We recommend you get your groceries in town at Centrum, first thing, as the owner recommends. There is not much available near the house. We like to snorkel, we did find some decent spots, but clearly Curacao is more a dive destination. We liked the beach at Porto Mari, which is nearby. Cas Abou was also very nice, both charge a fee. Daaibooibaai was Free, nice and close by. All nice for sun, swimming, diving or snorkeling. Of these three, we found the best snorkeling on the left side of Cas Abou, we were essentially under the cliff wall, there were lots of fish and the coral was colorful. We ventured all the way to the peninsula on the far side of Willemstad, on the far side of Caracas Bay, past Fort Beekenburg to snorkel the sunken Tug Boat. You will have to ask directions, it is a long drive. Bring cash for gas. Stations don't seem to take MC/Visa/Discover. Have a great trip!
