The highlight of our Costa Rica experience!

5 of 5
It is hard to describe how truly magical this place is. When you arrive, you will meet Trina and Alberto. They are some of the kindest, warmest people you will ever meet. What a pleasure it is to know them! When you walk in the house, your breathe will be taken away by the beauty of the space. It was clean and elegant. Every detail appeared to be carefully and purposefully chosen. Nothing was out of place. As you walk through the house, you may need to sit several times so that you won't faint from shear excitement. It just gets better and better. The bathtub in the master bath is luxurious! The outdoor shower is amazing. The pool, the deck...one thing is more amazing than the last. If I had to pick a favorite thing about this place, I couldn't. My husband and I stayed there on our honeymoon, and it was our favorite part of our whole trip to Costa Rica, hands down. Private, beautiful, romantic. It doesn't get any better. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!!

Location, Location

5 of 5
The magnificent view and elegance of houses is not in review, that is a fact but the great part no one has spoken of is the location. My friends were staying in Dominical and to drive to all the sports that happen to be in the south as Puerto jimenez and Osa became a great pain for them because of the longer drives. The chocolate factory, the fishing in Golfo Dulce, the waves of playa Backwash, Isla de cano , the whales etc were all happening in the south. We instead, being in this stunning, comfortable house which is in the middle of everything with short drives, enjoyed Dominical, Manuel Antonio and the real sport fun that is in the south not to mention the restaurants and bars we found on our way. Next time we all will be staying in here. Very nice and cool at night also by the way...

Pristine, private and peaceful

5 of 5
This is a lovely alternative to resorts and hotels in a beautiful part of Costa Rica. The house, pool and grounds are all excellent and well-maintained. The bedrooms are in separate parts of the house so are very private if two couples want to share. The road up is a 4X4 challenge...steep and unpaved...but arriving back at Casa Miramar makes it all worth it! We enjoyed every minute. If you're looking for tourist destination with lots of amenities, this is not the spot. If you're looking for lovely empty beaches, local flavor and wonderful nature and wildlife, you can't do better than this area of Costa Rica. The newly paved road along the coast will increasingly bring development....come now!
