A chance not to be missed...

5 of 5
We stayed 3 days at Annette & Harry's and truly wish we could have made it longer, heck even seriously though about how we could move in the area! What else can be expected ... the beautiful cabins, the view, the area, the people, simply inspiring. Warm days and cool nights made if great for sleeping, no bugs, plenty of wildlife & views to die for. We had the pleasure of a delicious daily breakfast, some very interesting chats with the owners, amazing encounters with locals during a hike tour with Harry, an overall experience we will never forget. Make sure to also fit in a horseback ride with Walter, the local caretaker and weather permitting a visit to the volcano. The cabins are new, spotless, built with the local wood of the area, designed by their son and you can immediately feel how the owners have built this little paradise and just want to share with others. We came back home a little more relaxed, a little more still and will carry the memories of our stay forever. We would recommend the cabins to anyone who enjoys the mountains and want to get a taste of what Pura Vida means to Costa Rican's. A 4x4 is needed to drive up otherwise Harry can also pick you up lower down. Good hiking shoes for exploring the area or horseback riding. Thank you again Harry & Annette for hosting us!
