Wonderful time

4 of 5
I looked for a long time for a rental for my family as I wanted a more intimate setting for my vacation. This house was perfect. The management took care of every issue that came up. The house and pool area are very nice. Glad the driver pointed out the shortcut thru the woods to get to town. That was a tremendous help. The 1 thing that I have issues with falls under amenities. 1st- a small jaccuzzi tub is not a jaccuzzi. That is a jetted tub. Other than that we had a great time and I would recommend this property to anybody. Thanks RPM

Fabulous stay at Villa Colibri

5 of 5
Our stay at Villa Colibri was outstanding. The house is perfectly situated for beach going, adventuring seeking, surfing, and visiting all the nearby sights. While we stayed there we were able to go horse back riding at the wonderful facilities inside Pinilla. We were able to see so many animals that my kids had a hard time keeping track of them. This house is perfect of families and has a great layout, and very close to the pool. It is an easy drive into town to get things you need and there are great restaurants inside Pinilla. The surf is fantastic and since the beach is so secluded you have the break to yourself. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in the area. It is pura vida!

excellent location

5 of 5
I went there last year on january with my family and some friends. I had a great time, Cecilia (owner) was great, thank you so much, we had a wonderful vacation. Thank Sonia and his husband for their kindness and help. the only dislike were the lack of some accomodities like no A/C, no internet access, and no TV. Other than that if you're in the mood, like we were, of being with the natural environment, adventure and enjoying without this services you'll have the best trip ever. Even if we didn't had A/C, by being at the top of the tamarindo hill you get a cool breeze. And at Tamarindo center you can find the "internet cafe's" that we were missing at the beginning. The gravel road to get to the house was a little messy but for us part of the adventure. It really wasn't comparable with the location of the house and the kindness of the people. I definitely recommend the place to everyone who reads this, the price payed doesn't show a bit of what we got.
