Amazing Vacation - True Gem in Costa Rica

5 of 5
My husband and I and our best friends and their family rented all 4 villas. My husband and I stayed in Villa 2. It was so beautiful. Big kitchen, beautiful bedrooms, just amazing. We were greeted each day with a warm smile by Maria and received fresh flowers daily. Richard was amazing, we can't say enough about him. He helped us with all of our transportation and excursions (fishing, canopy tour, horseback riding, massage, etc.). Whatever we needed, Richard & Maria were there with their warm smiles and truly genuine hospitality. The Rocamar Beach Lounge is a true gem. Great people, good chill vibe, amazing food and beautiful sunsets each night. Great place to just kick back and lounge around. We couldn't have asked for more. The Villas are beautiful whether you are walking out and going into the pool to cool off or relaxing in the hammock or on the couch...it just doesn't get any better. Thank you to everyone at the Villas Santa Teresa for all that you did to make our stay so wonderful.

Relaxing and comfortable Balinese Villa in Playa Hermosa

5 of 5
Just came back from staying at this Balinese Villa. The place is well decorated - looks just like the pictures. Enjoyed relaxing on the Bali style furniture and dipping into the pool when it got hot. Loved the open air style of the main area while sleeping in air conditioned rooms at night. The villa provides privacy and is a short walk to the beach. Dahlia and her husband provided us with recommendations for restaurants and set us up with a great surf instructor (Mauricio) as well as spear fishing. They came every morning to make sure we that we had everything we needed and answer all of our questions. We really appreciated all their help and hospitality. I highly recommend this beautiful and relaxing Costa Rican getaway. My family and I look forward to the next time we have the opportunity to visit.

Upscale House in Old School Costa Rica

5 of 5
Hands down this is the best house we have visited. We find ourselves talking about this place to our friends all the time. My childhood vacations to Costa Rica were filled with wild settings and wildlife right up to and inside the houses. Costa Rica has become somewhat commercial since then and I was worried my wife would not get to experience the "real" Costa Rica, but this place keeps the natural wilderness with an upscale touch. It all starts with 4x4 driving, crossing shallow rivers and beautiful landscapes. The house is the last one on a road along the beach with electricity. Beyond the house is an estuary and then farms right up to secluded beaches. You sleep to crashing waves all night, then surf all day. 180 degree views of the ocean from two bedrooms and the living area. There is another bedroom in the back. Rent a 4 wheeler to get to the beaches faster and let the family take the truck if you need another vehicle. Hike for a morning to the waterfalls at Montezuma and have lunch in town on the beach. Cabo Blanco is a nice hike where we saw a large troop of spider monkeys. Malpais has fun snorkeling and bars/restaurants. We surfed a lot at Hermosa Beach and beaches to the south. Few people in the lineup and very mellow. Surf lessons can be found in Santa Teresa, just south of the house. Flor Blanca is nearby which is a top notch resort where you can get amazing meals if you don't mind spending the money. This house is a jewel located in the middle of the wilderness. We enjoyed the house just as much as the nature that surrounds it.
