          GREAT location!!

          5 of 5
Our family of three stayed for four nights and it was wonderful. We felt very safe with the gated condo and walked to the mall to get food for breakfast. It was very clean and updated. Paolo was great as well organizing a wonderful tour that was a reasonable price. Although it was raining we had a blast! I was able to do laundry that helped keep cost down on the amount of clothes needed. There was a great Italian restaurant in the mall. Thank you Parklands for making our vacation to CR memorable.

          Beautiful House in the Mountains

          5 of 5
My friends and I stayed at Villa Erika for a week while traveling through Costa Rica. The house and property are absolutely gorgeous. It's huge inside, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. There were six of us staying there, and we were all able to find some quiet space to ourselves. The kitchen was very large, and well equipped. We cooked a few nice dinners there during our stay. Also, having access to washer/dryer was very nice. From the front lawn there is a nice view of Alajuela and the mountains to the south. Everyone involved, from the owners to the nice lady who cooked us breakfast and tidied up, were helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Climate there was also nice, usually 80F during the days and 55F at night. There were hot showers, which should not be taken for granted in Costa Rica. The house is also located near lots of fun things to do, such as explore the nearby town of Barva, two volcanoes, a canopy tour, and many inexpensive bars/restaurants. That being said, when on the Villa Erika property, one feels nicely secluded from the rest of the world. Cannot recommend this place enough!
