beautiful condo great location

5 of 5
Beautiful condo about 10 years old, perfectly located on the north end of Jaco. It is on some what private road at times but definitely cleaner and nicer than most all side streets. Main entrance is on side street w a guard and gate so it is very safe there. A lil about the group of 6 of us, all early 30s, 2 couples and 2 single guys from Long Island NY that have spent much time in NYC and the Hamptons. Ok so on, this is by far the nicest spot on the beach in Jaco BUT the beach directly in front of the condo is definitely not the nicest a lil rocky and its the locals beach on the weekends so there will be a ton of people friday and saturday virtually no one during the week which is good, but i would def not let that affect you staying here or not, a short walk down the beach works or does a 10 min cab ride to a really beautiful beach. The pool there is excellent enough chairs, clean, directly on the beach. The location is great sunrise breakfast on corner has great american breakfast. All really good restaurants about a 5-10 min short walk as well as tons of good bars/clubs playing really good NYC style music all nights. In summary this is the place if you coming here to eat great, party hard, relax during the day. Side not condo has mix of all types of people from around the world not just for one age group as well. Thank you Marty! Also thank you Julie so much for helping us out down there, she will gladly help you figure out what you may want to do, thanks again. And if your planning a trip to Manuel Antonio park and want a guide which is a MUST, don't get one you'll see, see nothing really. Ask for Paul he is an awesome tour guide knows the whole park and anything to do with costa rica, he will take you to his house for lunch which was amazing fresh mahi, just what we had that day. An anniversary celebration of the ages!!

4 of 5
Vista Oceana was an absolutely wonderful venue for the family to assemble in celebration of our 50th weeding anniversary. Unfortunately for us, one of our sons and his spouse were unable to come do to the expected arrival of their first child in January 2015, It's a Girl!, a circumstance that was not foreseen when we made our reservations in 2013. And if they had joined us the house would not have been able to comfortably accommodate all 15 of us. But for 13, it was almost perfect. The setting was marvelous with spectacular sunsets almost every night. The bird life and the monkeys provided experiences that will live on in our memories for years to come. And the location of the infinity pool assured frequent, and much appreciated use. Practically all present engaged in multiple activities and reported high levels of satisfaction with all arrangements. The sunset cruise on a private sailboat was a wonderful and unexpected touch as was the dinner prepared by a chef in the home on Christmas eve. We did experience a brief power outage and the water was unavailable for about 12 hours. But I guess those kind of unanticipated events are not all that uncommon in Manuel Antonio. Other than the Christmas Eve meal, we ate several memorable dinners at first class local restaurants. It is doubtful that we shall ever try to revisit the area for any similar event again, the logistics for a large family with a wide variety of ages and involvements (schools, jobs, etc.) being what they are, but in no way does this indicate the least disappointment with the experience on this most memorable occasion. Thankfully, Dennis Hunter

Fantastic Views

5 of 5
The minute you walk in this condo you will be amazed at the view. The condo is extremely clean an well furnished. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of towels. The owner has even provided snorkeling equipment. The kitchen had everything and even had a dishwasher. The patio is a great overlook to the jungle below. The property managers can assist with booking any tours or transportation. We highly recommend the zip line tour through Mid World. The only problem we encountered during our stay during the holiday week was that there seemed to be a problem with the water pressure at the condos. Most days were manageable but on our last night there was no water for several hours and again the following morning. We were told that the hotel and the condos share a water system and that the hotel had first priority. This problem occurs during peak tourism times like Christmas time. Otherwise everything was wonderful about the condo and we still give it five stars.
