              AMAZING EXPERIENCE IN COSTA RICA

              5 of 5
My experience in this beautiful place has no way to explain in words exactly, but I'll try to do it. The property is beautiful and the energy emanating from this place is simply radiant. Animals, nature, oxygen, all this combined creates something called Paradise! As the facilities I give them 10 star! They are beautiful something that anyone could call a second home ... The pool scene is like an oasis in the middle of nature ... The Rancho has a simply spectacular view ... The rooms and decor are sober! Anyone wishing to enjoy a real and welcoming experience in Costa Rica should not think 2 times and visit this beautiful and lush place recommended and 100% guaranteed! Amazing experience in Costa Rica ... Thank Rancho Montecitos...

              WOW!

              5 of 5
I am tempted not to leave a review, because I would hate to have this hidden gem spoiled. We spent 12 days in Costa Rica and I only wish that we had spent the majority of our time at this location. We were there for 4 days, 2 Adults and 2 children. After doing all the "touristy" stuff the country had to offer this was the perfect location to end our vacation. It is off the beaten path and in a quiet area, with views of the mountains that cannot be described. The owner, Raphael, was more than welcoming and I like to think we made a true friend in Costa Rica. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and let us use his horses. Taking us through his beautiful pastures and showing us around and then giving us free roam - what an experience. The house is clean and roomy with everything you could need. The ranch foreman, Ali, was always around if we needed anything and entertained our 15 year old son with working on a cattle ranch, so much so that he would like to go back and work next summer. What kind of experiences and life lessons would make a 15 year old city boy want to help out and cut grass for the horses or learn to saddle them up. We could not pay enough for those experiences. We enjoyed our stay so much so that we stayed at the ranch and did not venture out to other tourist excursions. But I understand that everything is within a hour or so drive. We loved this house and what it had to offer. It made us slow down and enjoy each other's company. Sitting on the porch at night, with the cool breezes and endless amount of stars in the skies made us all realize what a beautiful country Costa Rica is. I look forward to returning and having another dinner with our extraordinary friend, Raphael, and learning more about his impressive life. If you don't require a fast paced world this is the perfect retreat. We cannot thank Raphael enough for the time we spent with him, and look forward to another dinner with great food and conversations with him.
