Perfect location and we felt

5 of 5
The house is beautiful and the location was very convenient. The description was very accurate but there is no way to describe the complete beauty you see when you sit on the deck or swim in the pool. There is complete flexibility. If you want to have a week on your own, the grocery store and several restaurants are within easy walking distance and the local bus is just a few steps away. However, Josue was available to arrange any day trips we wanted to take. All we needed to do was tell him what we wanted and he arranged everything. He is knowledgeable and honest and we felt well taken care of without feeling any pressure to use his services if we didn't need them. Roxanna takes good care of the house and was also very flexible. We did have one issue with keys breaking but it was more a result of the heat, humidity and aluminum material used in Costa Rica to make keys. They are "soft" but since we were given two sets of keys we were able to get into the house easily and a replacement key arrived the next day with no hassle on our part. Our three daughters loved the place and we were able to enjoy a full week of peace and happiness.

Treat Yourself to Paradise

5 of 5
What can I say that hasn't been said? The villa was absolutely even more beautiful than the pictures. As an interior designer of resort properties...I do not say that often. It was very clean and everything was there that you could possibly need. The beautiful kitchen was well equipped and we cooked several nights. The bedrooms were cool with comfortable mattresses and lovely bedding. Plenty of room for everyone to have their privacy. Even the bathrooms were neat with the outdoor shower and tropical plants. The pool was absolutely gorgeous with all the privacy, tropical trees and plants. I went swimming every morning early after my coffee and every evening...it was just so peaceful. We also ate outside and used the very nice grill. The management company was very responsive and the maids and pool guy came often and were pleasant. There was always a security man there but we felt very safe as women alone. We enjoyed Langosta Beach Club...we were made to feel special by the French family there. The beach there is nice...the cabanas lovely in the evening for drinks and dinner(food was excellent). They arranged massages on the beach for us and the French bakery in town is owned by the Mother of the family. We enjoyed several breakfast treats from there(go early)!! A highlight for me was the zip lining at Pura Aventura. Gracious people there and so much fun. Also enjoyed sailing the sunset cruise with gourmet treats on the Antares. It was a family operation and such nice people. Every restaurant we tried was excellent...wish we had time to try them all. Visited Auto Mercardo several times and it was very nice and has everything you could need. Must mention Sueno del Mar B&B across the street for breakfast...what a treat...beautiful view...monkeys in the trees..birds trying to steal our fruit!! Lovely place! Had a very nice experience with Vamos car rental, great prices and they did all they said they would do very efficiently. If you are considering this area do yourself a favor and stay at Villa Oasis...it will be the best part of your vacation!!! May I mention again that refreshing pool after a day out adventuring!! Thanks Chris and Galit for sharing your wonderful villa.

A Wonderful Family Gathering

5 of 5
This home was enjoyed by our family of 15 including grandparents, adult children, and grandchildren. Wonderful home with some private quarters near the main home. All was in great shape, clean and well-maintained with daily maid service and pool/grounds service. Highlight of the visit was the abundance of jungle animals. An iguana greeted us on our initial introduction to the property. Monkeys galore including one inadvertent invasion by white faces when somebody left a screen door ajar. Howler monkeys were frequently observed outside the windows, A troop of squirrel monkeys playfully entertained us from the bushes around the garage. And a sloth slept most of the day on a nearby tree. Also, several colorful birds including some Toucans. Views of the ocean were fabulous from every room and the deck. Very comfortable sleeping and eating. Activities arranged by our concierge Hazel were excellent. We enjoyed a guided walking tour of the park, a boatride through the mangroves with another troop of entertaining monkeys, zip lining, and white water rafting. These activities all included transportation. This was our first group vacation where we did not have rental cars. Ten minutes into our transfer from the airport to our first hotel, I knew the decision not to drive ourselves was a good decision. Transportation to beaches, restaurants, and grocery stores was easy using buses or cabs. A nearby Super Joseph was all we needed. Easy access by bus, they deliver, and usually they would drive us back to our house. Twice we used a chef recommended by Hazel to cook an evening dinner. Probably cheaper than eating out. We were somewhat worried about visiting during the rainy season but that was not a problem. Morning activities were never a problem. Entertaining thunderstorms a couple of evenings, got soaked walking a block or so after dinner, but no problem. A superb house and a wonderful vacation enjoyed by all.
