The perfect vacation - we'll be back!

5 of 5
We absolutely had the best vacation in our 30 years together! You know you've found the perfect place when the morning after we arrived while lounging by the pool we began planning our return. Bob, Bea and their family of furry friends were the best hosts, always available for us if we had a question or any need. Seabreeze Casa was perfect in every way. The only thing I could have used was a cushier pillow (but I'm a pillow snob) and it certainly did not affect my sleep. We slept soundly every night. Terry and I enjoyed the place so much we had to force ourselves to go to the beach and the store. We ate lunch at Tortilla Flats twice but were always anxious to come "home" to Seabreeze. Bea took us on a couple of quad adventures and we were able to meet their groundskeeper's family (who insisted that we stay for an entirely home grown, home raised fabulous meal). We enjoyed the two storms that rushed through, the awesome fireflies, the monkeys, parrots, Toucans and the huge toads who sat by the pool at night. We loved the geckos who visited us in the evenings while we played cards. The view from the tub of all of the above while having champagne and a bubble bath was such a treat! But the pool was our favorite part of all (I want one just like it) with the spectacular view. Tara adopted us and is so, so sweet. And when we hiked we were accompanied by a little black lab (I can't remember her name). The flowers! WOW. The whole property is beautifully landscaped and there are so many, many types of flowers everywhere! And the jungle is amazing! My goodness, between our camera and our two phones we took over a thousand pictures and videos! Our family and friends have had to sit through our enthusiastic "slide show" :) Oh, and the new Villa is without a doubt the most beautifully appointed guest home that I have EVER seen (I manage over 125 vacation homes several of which are rated Platinum so I know what I'm talking about). Thank you for this wonderful memory! We're coming back in a few months to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary! Seabreeze sleeps around 12 or so (but is perfect for two)! MOST GORGEOUS HOME IN PLAYA ESPADILLA

5 of 5
My family and I we stayed from the 13th to the 20th at Bali house. It was the perfect getaway. My family and I can not wait to return again next summer . The house is beautiful and unique having an incredible architectural design perfectly suited for relaxation and sharing with family and friends. It was great with everything we could possibly need, the dining area with its gorgeous large table, the expansive living room and the 5 beautiful bedrooms with private baths. The patio allowed for our family to spend evenings together while listening to the roaring ocean, in the mornings we could hear the howler monkeys around the house and see the titi monkeys walking around the deck. The pool was large enough to really swim in, and the ocean is less than a minute away. Everything was so perfect. . What a beautiful beach! We took several long walks along the water's edge. We often watched the surfers, swam or just lazily read a book. Back at the house we had the best time ever! We had a great time being quite lazy there for hours and hours. Of course there was a lot to do nearby too. Their are several good restaurants, all reasonably priced. As if that were not enough, we also appreciated the excellent staff. The property manager, Fernando, was super helpful and he was willing to assist with any problems and makes great recommendations for things to do, places to go, etc. We highly recommend this wonderful house with confidence. The owner is an excellent communicator and will accommodate whatever needs you may have. Bonnie, M

It's about the spectacular view!

5 of 5
This was our first trip to Costa Rica and although I did lots of research prior to our trip, I wasn't totally sure what to expect. We arrived in the dark (and it gets dark at 5:30PM) so we couldn't appreciate the perfect setting of Flying Toucans until the next morning. My favorite part of our experience was the privilege of rising at first light and enjoying the sunrise every day (at 5:30 AM)on the balcony, appreciating the glorious colors of the sky as the tides came in and watching the tropical creatures as they came in to visit. Actually, the view is so spectacular at any time of the day with a constant show of wildlife, you will find it very difficult to leave when you have activities planned. This was the rainy season which I didn't fully understand but it was perfect for us -- on most days we didn't see rain until later in the afternoon or evening and when it rained, we quite enjoyed the experience of the tropical downpour. Flying Toucans was perfect for the two couples on our trip and we loved that the living room was actually outside. Even the kitchen shutters opened to take in that gorgeous view of the infinity pool and the Pacific . Clearly the owner’s thought of every detail in design and location, the house manager came to meet us on our arrival in the dark and was a font of information about the area during our stay since he has been a resident for many years; he goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect yet he knows exactly the right balance between being available and giving you your privacy . We took a side trip to Manuel Antonio one day which we thoroughly enjoyed (the benefit of traveling to Costa Rica in the rainy season, is the crowds are much smaller). When we returned to Flying Toucans that evening after walking on every available trail, climbing every step and seeing lots of wildlife, the grounds person surprised us all with a Pipa Fria which I think was the most refreshing beverage I have ever tasted! Having a cell phone for local phone calls was a nice feature and since we turned our USA phones off except for Wifi, it was something we found very useful -- thank you! All in all, Flying Toucans made our first visit to Costa Rica, one we will never forget and we highly recommend this property. It really was paradise!
