great time at Seabreeze Casa

5 of 5
We had a terrific time in Costa Rica and lots of thanks go to Bob and Bea for that! Seabreeze Casa is beautiful and we loved the monkeys, the pool, and the dogs. It was so great knowing we could leave our things for the day and not worry about them being secure! We did a kayak tour to the Ventura Caves that was one of the best days ever. We did zipling in Monteverde that was unbelievable. Surf lessons on the beach at Domenical and eating at Tortilla Flats was great. The Nauyaca Falls gave our daughter's boyfriend a great place to propose and produce stands kept us going with terrific fruit. We had some car trouble and can't imagine what we would've done without Bob and Bea's help with that! They made it a time we will remember always!

Best Christmas Family Vacation Ever

5 of 5
Our family of eight adults and seven children had the best Christmas vacation at Casa Maravella . We ranged in ages from 70 yrs. to three years and everyone was very comfortable and well taken cared of. The house is so comfortable with lots of open space around pool and doors that stayed open fron living room out to pool. The open pavilion provided seating for meals and cocktails looking out over the Pacific Ocean. The bedrooms all had individual air conditioning for easy comfort. Chef Ronald was wonderful to have around and prepared different meals every day that even pickiest eaters enjoyed. He prepared fish that we caught in many delicious ways. House keeping was every day and laundry done every two days. What a treat !!! We can't say enough about Sabrina an Don..managers of home. As soon as we signed up Sabrina would email each family with flight arrangements, excursion opportunities, and general information.she made it so easy to coordinate all plans for everyone. She and Don put up Christmas tree and many fun decorations all over the house which delighted the children. She or Don would stop by to be sure we were comfortable and didn't need anything. We all had such a wonderful week and would love to get back as soon as we can. Really hated to leave. Griers,Griffins. Columbia S.C. Buycks. Charleston,S.C.

View to Die For, Perfect Spot in Manuel Antonio

5 of 5
We were getting married in Costa Rica and wanted somewhere memorable to stay the following week, the Casa Barba Roja did not disappoint. The view is simply to die for, it's beautiful and amazing to chill and relax on the deck or by the pool. And although the view for most is probably the main selling point of this rental, the house itself is equally as good. The house is large and spacious, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need to make meals and there is also a BBQ outside that was great to use one night to grill up some fish. The house it is kept very clean with maids coming in almost daily. Since it was just the two of us on our honeymoon the size of the house was perhaps too big for us but we did not care as we liked the privacy this house provides. We would like to go back sometime in the future but with some family/friends, there is more than enough space to accommodate a family or if you went with another couple. Another reason I picked this rental was it's location, I think it's in a good spot that it is maybe half way between the main town and the national park. There is several restaurants within walking distance as well as a bank and some shopping. We had a car rental so it was easy for us to get around but you can also take the local bus which is very cheap and runs regularly, in fact if you are going to the Park I would recommend taking the bus instead of trying to park down there. I don't really have anything negative to say about this place, only a few nitpicking things which I'll detail here but I don't think any of which are big issues. Water pressure is kind of low and there isn't much hot water but this to be somewhat expected in a place like this, the BBQ there isn't as nice as the one shown in the photos (still worked fine though), the locking/security routine for the house was a bit tedious at times (we did not experience problems with it like some of the other reviews but it was kind of tedious to remember to lock all the different locks the correct way), the walkway wasn't an issue for us but if you have any mobility issues/trouble walking then going up and down the path all the time may be hard for you. Also remember there is a $300 cash deposit upon arrival, I forgot about that detail but no biggie. Check-in/out went smoothly with Josue the contact. In short we were very happy with the rental, everything went pretty smoothly and we had a great time. We hope to come back again in the future.
