run like a 5-star hotel !

5 of 5
Directions, check-in and meet-up were all clear and helpful. I found a detached "condo" (mini-house) that felt like a 5-star hotel: spotless, newness, over-stock of thick new towels, clean furnishings and super stereo. A breathtaking view over the beach and canopy. Nicely spaced units where you don't feel crowded by your neighbors. A nice kitchen that included a good 5-in chefs knife and well-stocked with cookware and small appliances (daiquiris and toast could freely flow). If you don't mind the steep hill condo drive you can stroll to the beach in 10 minutes -- condo has a great view high over the beach, yet is close to the beach that is a nice combination. Who wants to drive to the local beach after-all, unless the mother-in-law insists! The local dark-sand beach is swim-able and large with ocean temp == air temp (84F?) so you just walk right in, my sister was trilled when a hang-glider landed at her feet and flirted with her. There are markers to avoid rocky areas of the water underfoot, and surf that is adequate for minor boarding. A 10-minute drive to a lighter-sand beach that is more popular and more surf-worthy. The apartment pictures don't allow you to realize that this is a two-level, where both the living room and both bedrooms (lower level) opening onto balconies and with great views. The plunge pool was more than adequate, and the roomy patio area with dining table meant that the indoor dining table may be wanting for company as we were always dining outside. There were so many nice nearly tourist services. We went horse-back riding, and took the competitively priced canopy-ride plus wildlife hike (white-face monkeys, sloths, yellow-beaked toucans, iguana in touching distance, world's 3rd largest rodent species, Coati [racoon]) at a nearly plantation with fun tour hosts and fellow fun-visitors. It was superior to the Manuel Antonio tour (although you should also visit there and experience the lively wf-monkies stealing food from over-whelmed beach-picnickers). We saw sunset one evening from the hosts nearby pub-grill and also saw toucans there at sunset. We heard howler monkeys near the condo and saw a lone-male bidding us farewell as we departed our stay. The internet worked better here than places I've stayed in Guanacaste. I was able to watch my home cable/DVR via Slingbox with high quality as also HQ Netflix over my VPN.

Casa Pura Vista

5 of 5
Casa Pura Vista was absolutely amazing!!! We came to Manuel Antonio 20 years ago and while much has changed, it is still the beautiful bohemian beach town I remember!!! We came as a family with our two teenagers. Kimberly was a delight to work with and made sure all of our excursions would please everyone. She was very informative and really helped us in every possible way. Renzo was fantastic! It was so nice to come home after a full day of fun and have someone prepare a delicious meal while we watched the sunset. Such a treat! Meals were all delicious, better than most restaurants! The house is beyond beautiful!! Master bedroom is all glass. I woke up one night and was in awe of the stars surrounding me!! Definitely will be back! Thank you for making our Spring Break so memorable!

Trip of A Lifetime

5 of 5
The house was even more breathtaking the the photos. All of the rooms were lovely and the Master Suite was amazing! We enjoyed swimming in the infinity pool and watching the Costa Rican Sunset. Esiday kept everything so immaculate and provided fresh flowers in our room. We so enjoyed Chef Ranier's hospitality. He spoiled us with his fresh culinary creations! The wine cellar was a great bonus for choosing the wines for the meals. The last night we watched a movie in the theater. The location was just perfect for exploring the sights and wild life. We already recommended the place to our friends and look forward to returning again very soon!!!
