Exceeding Our Expectations

5 of 5
This property exceeding our expectations !! We arrived at night and we blown away by the house and the pool but in the morning when the sun came up the views were just breathtaking : ) We spent most mornings at the pool and then the beach in the afternoon. The home came with everything you could possible need - linens, towels, kitchen supplies, spices. We did not rent a car while in Costa Rica but Natalia set us up with a driver Carlos who was there in ten minutes when we called to take the group anywhere in Manuel Antonio. He also drove us back to San Jose at the end of our trip to catch our flights very reasonable price. It was great to have Natalia as a contact not only did she set up the car but suggested some great excursions as well as restaurants which were all delicious!!! The property was very clean and we had maid service twice during our one week rental as well as pooling cleaning. The customer service from all of the staff including the gate security, house manger, maid, pool boy were fantastic the people is Costa Rica could not be nicer. I would highly recommend this property to a group we stayed with 8 adults and had more than enough space - would go back tomorrow if I could! The house is so close to the beach, National Park, Supermarket (which has everything - liquor, fresh meats, fruits, snacks, even sunscreen and pool items), restaurants and bars and all excursions. We did surfing lessons through Blue Horizon on Manuel Antonio Beach which was fantastic, a catamaran cruise from the Marina, a day at the National Park a must ! the beaches in the park are beautiful and you see so many animals (with a guide we tried to find animals on our own but it is very difficult I suggest getting a guide), zip lining, white water rafting through H20 so much fun - they stop at a great lunch stop too which is included. The rest of our time was spent at this amazing house and the beautiful beaches of Manuel Antonio. Again stay here you won't regret it and we will be back for sure!

Proud 60s

4 of 5
Amazing view which no one could psssibly get tired of with the changing tides plus bird, butterflies & coatis all visiting the garden. Road access is very challenging especially in the dark, we will not miss the ride up & down the mountain. Baboo furniture is a nice touch but more hanging space for clothes would be welcome. Caretaker/gardener, Alberto was very friendly despite the different languages & he took us on a couple of rainforest walks which were very interesting. The jaccuzi bath was very relaxing after such treks. We also enjoyed the swimming pool which was very refreshing after our sightseeing journeys. Our 3 weeks here were relaxing & peaceful.

Stunning property, unbeatable view, great service

5 of 5
My family (my wife, me and our two sons, ages 14 and 11) ended our week-long vacation in Costa Rica with a 3 night stay at Casa Cielito at Tulemar. As soon as we opened the door to the Villa we were immediately wishing we had booked it for longer! The property is quite possibly the most gorgeous place we have ever stayed. The view is absolutely spectacular from all of the rooms - although we spent most of our time on the balcony (including eating all of our dinners there - because why go out and miss the sunset?). The casa is well furnished - gourmet kitchen, jacuzzi on the balcony, smart TV, luxury bedding, washer/dryer, etc. And the indoor/outdoor showers were fantastic! Chris, our concierge, was great. He (and Julien) answered all of my zillions of questions with patience as I was planning the trip. Chris set up a couple of activities for us. Chris also gave us a tour of the grounds when we arrived, checked in with us daily, and even brought us a plate of warm brownies that were delicious. Chris also set us up with private chef Jose and his assistant Rudy for a gourmet dinner for our last night. That was a big splurge for us but well worth it. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. My only wish is that we had thought to do it on the first night so we could have eaten the leftovers instead of leaving that all behind when we checked out. The grounds are incredible. We saw more wildlife here than anywhere else on our trip. Sloths, monkeys, lizards, iguanas, birds and butterflies. The landscaping is lush and the flowers are bright and beautiful. We loved the pools and the beach is even nicer than Manuel Antonio - which is saying something! We just wished we had more time to chill there to enjoy the beach. The location is perfect - between Manuel Antonio beach and Quepos. There are restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. We loved El Avion restaurant with its beautiful view and surprisingly great food. If you stay at Tulemar, be sure to plan for enough time to just relax and enjoy. It is a wonderful place to stay, and the service is top notch. We can't wait to go back and visit again!
