Unbelievable Views and Phenomenal Service!

5 of 5
I decided to take my girlfriend away for her birthday based upon TripAdvisor reviews. We stayed in a Buena Vista One Bedroom Select and to be quite honest the photos do not do it justice in the slightest. Upon entering our accommodation both I and my girlfriend were left speechless by the views and the accommodation in general, it was clean and had more room then we expected. There was fresh fruit laid out as soon as we arrived which was the icing on the cake. The staff from start to finish were amazing. Cindy made the booking process unbelievably easy. We would both highly recommend a massage from Vanessa. It was outstanding. Our concierge Ashley was wonderful. She handled our reservations for dinner, our excursions and anything else we wanted. Tulemar has the best service and professional people that I have ever experienced before. Once we settled in we went to the beach. What a wonderful beach it is. You do not have to bring anything with you. They have everything there. David who works at the beach must have one of the best jobs in world. Every time we went down the beach he greeted us with a smile and was more then helpful especially with our first time sea kayaking. I would and will recommend Tulemar Bungalows to anyone I meet and as and when we return to Costa Rica we will most definitely be staying here again!

Amazing luxury villa with unsurpassed ocean views

5 of 5
We highly recommend this luxury villa to anyone without reservation. The home accommodated two families with a total of 11 people comfortably in the five large, well appointed bedrooms. Beautiful open spaces both inside and out to relax and enjoy the most amazing vistas over the Pacific Ocean and jungle foliage surrounding the home. The area has ample places to explore from the beautiful surfing beaches, waterfalls, hiking trails, swimming holes, caves, and original Costa Rican villages that are not overrun by tourist. If you want to be away form the large resorts and overrun tourist areas, but have all the comforts of home with all that Costa Rica has to offer a short ride away, then this is it. No regrets!! We will return.

Yes, this place is for real.

We spent seven amazing nights at Eden Estate in summer 2014. The property really is as breathtaking as the pictures portray. The house sits on a ridgetop surrounded by jungle, with lush mountains on one side and the ocean in the distance on the other. The setting must be experienced to be understood- the sounds of the jungle, the constant changing weather, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets are all yours. The house itself is stunning. Nearly all glass, 360 degree views of the surroundings are provided. The large pool affords you a view of the nearby hills and the ocean in the distance. The architecture is stark and contemporary with many windows to take advantage of the constant hilltop breeze (only the bedrooms have A/C). The only thing that could be improved about the home is the furniture- the lounge chairs outside and couch are uncomfortable. Exploring the property, we spotted many kinds of frogs, birds and insects on the challenging hike to the river. If you are observant you will spot monkeys in the woods, and these are wild monkeys unlike the ones you will see in town. Speaking of town, Quepos is about a 25 minute drive. Not a problem for our group as we enjoyed the adventure of being a bit isolated and cooking for ourselves. A 4x4 is essential to get up the driveway- watch out for the neighborhood cows! If you want to reconnect with nature in a setting that is almost too beautiful to believe, this place is for you. Eden Estate was an experience we will never forget.
