More than just a house

5 of 5
The Bali House is more than just a house. Imagine renting out your own resort. That's right your own resort. We recently returned from a short stay at this gorgeous place and couldn't have been more happy. Yes a few things could be better (hot water in master) (ants in kitchen) but let me explain we would go back in a heartbeat. We have been to Manuel Antonio and stayed at great resort houses like Tulemar and Issimo suites. This takes it to a different level. Picture having your own beautiful room and view but sharing a common area with all of your best friends. Each couple had a romantic suite packed with exquisite furniture and amazing fixtures. When we decided to wake up we went into the giant family room which is shared by all. Great appliances, great furniture and a view of the pool that goes on forever. If you can ever get out of the pool, its a short walk to the beach. The closest house I've seen so far in Manuel Antonio. A romantic path leads you down to whats considered a public beach. However, we had it to ourselves. We used the houses boogie boards and chairs on the beach and had a great time. The location was excellent. A bit of a steep short walk to the main road where you can catch the bus easily. Also Raphael Terrazzo is directly above with music and good food. Don't change a thing Peter, the place is lovely! Jason and the Gang!

More than just a wonderful villa!

5 of 5
We can summarize with 3 simple words: A great experience! The fully equipped house, the large pool and the deserted beach were simply perfect. We appreciated spending time enjoying the villa as much as going out to activities in the region. If you go there, you really have to have a Costa Rican meal prepared by Rosa! For us, travelling in Costa Rica for the first time, we really appreciated the fact that there was no "bad surprises" renting a house. Everything from first contact with owners until the very last day has been a positive experience. We will definitly recommend this property to friends! Pura Vida!

Best way to experience Cost Rica!

5 of 5
The home is very comfortable and spacious. The views are incredible. From talking to others, I can tell you that this is the best way to experience Costa Rica - in a more secluded, private home. There are tons of restaurants and bars within walking distance, but you feel really close to nature and not other houses or hotels. (And the local grocery store delivers!) We saw all kinds of wildlife. Monkeys and sloths were our favorites. Can't say enough good things about the concierge and house staff. They went way above and beyond our expectations. Fishing and zip-lining were both great, but so were walking in the rain and watching the lightning storms from the top deck! We travelled with one other family and 3 teenagers. There was something for all of us and lots of special memories, too! Can't wait to go back.
