Reasonably priced, very functional and optimally located apartment.

            4 of 5
Our family of four, 2 adults & kids 5 & 7 yrs, very much enjoyed our stay in the Manuel Antonio Estates Eco Condos. The apartment was nicely located between what we came to think of as "real Costa Rica" Quepos and "tourist Costa Rica" Manuel Antonio. It allowed us to experience both worlds. The apartment was modestly priced and provided the basics that we needed for our week in the area. As Americans, we are used to a bit more luxury, but by Costa Rican standards, the Eco condo was grand! Having the pool just outside our door was perfect. We met and associated with many nice families also staying in the Eco condos. We had a car and used it for short trips to shopping, meals & terrific unadvertised local beaches. We also walked into Quepos on several occasions. Dorit was terrific and probably the best asset of MA Estates. She offered numerous ideas and tips in advance of and during our trip and arranged many terrific tours for our family. The sunset sail & Titi zipline tour were the best of all. We were thrilled to have her assistance with transportation to/from the tours and SJO airport. With Dorit's guidance, we always felt like we were safe and on the right track. I don't think this vacation is for everyone (we like heat and don't require fancy accommodations), but for us it was an amazing learning experience and trip.

Sounds too good to be true, but its Great

Right from the beginning when the manager was up late waiting for me to the final taxi ride back to the airport we did not have a complaint, but only compliments. The room was clean and well looked after, no bugs and everthing worked including the Ac. If and when we build a pool for ourselves it will be modeled after this one. The size and location and depth was well thought out. Watching monkeys, sloths and birds from in the pool is something we will remember for a long time to come. Its location (once a short steep walk is done) is reallly perfect. A word of warning though there are steep hills in Manuel Antonio and if you dont like exersize a car is a must and quite reasonable (40 + 15 insurance)just up the hill next to the bank and close to a food store. I would go back without any hesitation and dont mind answering any questions.
