PARADISE FOUND AT SIERPE DEL PACIFICO

              5 of 5
My family of five had the adventure of a life time at Sierpe del Pacifico (our three children range in ages from 8-17). The jungle home is stunning, clean and placed right in the middle of the jungle--toucans, parrots, capuchin and howler monkeys are neighbours. We loved the solitude and natural splendour of the property. Paradise is simply sitting on the porch, overlooking the jungle and the Sierpe River, watching scarlet macaws fly by. We took boat trips to Corcovado Park, Cano Island, Violin Island and went horseback riding with Rosita (which was so much fun)! Caesar was a top notch guide in Corcovado--very informative and he tracked a tapir for us. Felipe was a friendly, kind and knowledgeable driver on our way to and from San Jose. In fact, everyone we dealt with regarding our vacation was friendly, knowledgable and eager to help. The experience best suits those who enjoy nature and wilderness, don't mind hot and humid weather and can handle a 5-10 minute up hill climb to the house from the dock. Make sure to stock up on groceries well before Sierpe as we found the town grocery store lacking. Being submersed in the true jungle, I learned more on the Oso Peninsula about life than in my 8 years of university. I've been home for a while; yet, I still miss the howler monkeys and their morning calls. Thank you Cassidy, it was the most amazing vacation and I'd love to return.

THIS IS A BUCKET LIST ITEM!

              5 of 5
I researched tree houses because it has been my wife's childhood dream to live in a treehouse now completed in a grand style! I chose this because even though a 4 wheel drive is needed to access the property, once there it is an easy walk & the privacy is beyond private - only saw someone when I had a couple questions , otherwise one could live like Tarzan and Jane - which we did! It was awesome- just as the view of the jungle, monkeys, tropical birds & floria. Although living in the "open" canopy (no walls) may seem primitive, having electricity for a fridge, fans, wifi, hot running water makes this place seem like a paradise jungle canopy well work checking it off your bucket list even if it was never on ( but it should be) Also visit the coco farm which Blondie's help we had an awesome informative tour. We are in our 60's and enjoyed every second / wishing we could have spend more time and discovered this sooner when put children were still home as this is a must do experience.

BEAUTIFUL, AUTHENTIC HOME IN COSTA RICA!!!

              5 of 5
Where are the words to describe how much we loved this house? The house, about a twenty-minute drive up through the jungle from the beach, is situated at the top of a mountain that overlooks other mountains covered in rainforest. Our favorite thing to do at the end of each day was to sit in our beautiful private pool and watch the sun begin to go down. The gazebo and pool are both perfect for having a fun dinner outside. The house itself is lovely and roomy enough for six couples to easily be comfortable. It is perfect for both couples who want to get away for a romantic escape, to a group of friends who want to spend a week together. Having access to a washing machine and kitchen was a definite plus and is something we would not have had access to had we stayed in a hotel. The thing we loved most about the house was how nestled it was in the actual community. There were no tourists nearby and all of the locals were extremely warm and friendly. Carlos, who lives up the hill, brought us bananas. Melanie, who lives in the neighboring house, helped us find the waterfall nearby. Karen and Doris, who own a “soda,” a small restaurant five minutes from the house, kept us full of strawberry and pineapple “naturales” each day. We felt that we had a genuine experience that other tourists most likely missed out on. The house is within minutes of beaches, restaurants with breathtaking sunset views, canopy zip-lining and our personal favorite, the Nauyaca waterfall. Without a doubt, we recommend this beautiful home to anyone considering a trip to Costa Rica who wants an authentic experience. You will not be disappointed. – Andy and Jenna, Phoenix, AZ
