A Luxury Treehouse on the Beach

5 of 5
This house had the perfect combination of being so close to the beach we could touch our feet to the sand in under a minute and being clouded by enough jungle that we could escape to complete privacy whenever we wanted. From the infinity pool, we couldn’t see anything but ocean, sky, and trees. I learned that the only houses on the whole 30-acre property were owned by the same person who owns the Bali House, which made me feel very safe. A staff of six people worked at the house, cleaning the pool and the bedrooms and doing laundry. They were very friendly, even though I didn’t speak any Spanish, and they very much kept to themselves. The pool and air conditioning made the hot weather more than tolerable. It was really nice to sit on the deck at night when the air would cool just a bit and sip a glass of wine. The pool light reflected the stars in a gorgeous way that made me feel as though I were sitting at the edge of the universe. For dinner we could walk 15 minutes to get to local restaurants. I cannot stress how delicious chicken is in Costa Rica. I don’t know what they do differently there, but it is amazing. All in all, my Costa Rica vacation was a luxury and a dream. I can only hope I will be able to get another group together and stay at the Bali House again sometime soon.

THIRD TIME IS A CHARM!

5 of 5
On my third visit to Jaco, I finally got it right! Not that the prior places I stayed were bad, but they couldn't hold a candle to this beautiful condo. My three fishing buddies were equally impressed with it too. Impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, with amenities for everyone. Having a washer and dryer allowed us to pack light and avoid waiting at the airport baggage line, an important point for any seasoned Costa Rica traveler. The kitchen was large enough for the four of us to prepare coffee and breakfast without congestion. The view of the beach was incredible and the sunsets breathtaking. I really lack the superlatives to do it justice. Our concierge, Julie, was a savior! I will book again with her soon.

The perfect vacation - we'll be back!

5 of 5
We absolutely had the best vacation in our 30 years together! You know you've found the perfect place when the morning after we arrived while lounging by the pool we began planning our return. Bob, Bea and their family of furry friends were the best hosts, always available for us if we had a question or any need. Seabreeze Casa was perfect in every way. The only thing I could have used was a cushier pillow (but I'm a pillow snob) and it certainly did not affect my sleep. We slept soundly every night. Terry and I enjoyed the place so much we had to force ourselves to go to the beach and the store. We ate lunch at Tortilla Flats twice but were always anxious to come "home" to Seabreeze. Bea took us on a couple of quad adventures and we were able to meet their groundskeeper's family (who insisted that we stay for an entirely home grown, home raised fabulous meal). We enjoyed the two storms that rushed through, the awesome fireflies, the monkeys, parrots, Toucans and the huge toads who sat by the pool at night. We loved the geckos who visited us in the evenings while we played cards. The view from the tub of all of the above while having champagne and a bubble bath was such a treat! But the pool was our favorite part of all (I want one just like it) with the spectacular view. Tara adopted us and is so, so sweet. And when we hiked we were accompanied by a little black lab (I can't remember her name). The flowers! WOW. The whole property is beautifully landscaped and there are so many, many types of flowers everywhere! And the jungle is amazing! My goodness, between our camera and our two phones we took over a thousand pictures and videos! Our family and friends have had to sit through our enthusiastic "slide show" :) Oh, and the new Villa is without a doubt the most beautifully appointed guest home that I have EVER seen (I manage over 125 vacation homes several of which are rated Platinum so I know what I'm talking about). Thank you for this wonderful memory! We're coming back in a few months to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary! Seabreeze sleeps around 12 or so (but is perfect for two)!
