Living in a Dream!!!

5 of 5
AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!! First off, you cannot do better than Hervé and Yvette!! Seriously! They are amazing people with an amazing property in an amazing beach in Costa Rica! (That's what the three initial amazing's stand for!!) This was my first experience with HomeAway and I have to admit I did not know what to expect. Was it really going to look like the pictures? Was I going to have trouble finding the place? Did the place really have everything I need? Yvette was beyond helpful, she gave me every instruction I needed and more! I liked her from the first email exchange! So warm and friendly! I'd like to think I found a friend for life! She answered emails promptly and always so helpful! She gave me great tips and one great Margarita recipe!! All this and I've only told you about the amazing owners of the condo. I'm originally from Costa Rica and have travelled up and down Puntarenas beaches, and by far Playa Blanca is my favorite! White sand beaches, located inside a private (4.5 TripAdvisor rating) Hotel with amazing amenities you can choose to enjoy, but I tell you between the pool in the Condo, that mind-blowing view of the ocean and the white sand Playa Blanca beach... you will want for nothing else! The condo has a great size, amazing views from the living room, from the dinning room, from the kitchen and the master suite, and all of these have direct access to the balcony. BBQ al set and ready in that balcony so don't forget to buy some grillin' food because you're going to want to fire that baby up! If you have kids, they will love that water slide in the pool that is practically all for them! And for all the 'inside' times there's cable TV and WiFi for all the family members to enjoy. I went with my hubby, my mom and my niece and we had a blast! When you first arrive at the entrance of Punta Leona Hotel, you go through a road that crosses a primary forrest, amazing! Afterwards to drive up and around the gorgeous hills right beside the ocean until you reach the Condo which is right beside Playa Blanca Beach. When my niece saw that water slide she was so happy! But nothing beats the moment we walked in the Condo... breathtaking! So beautiful, clean, organized and THAT VIEW!!! We were in heaven! My mom is an older woman and she loved that very convenient elevator! We'd just go down, get in our car (so my mom wouldn't have to walk) drive 2min and we were at the main entrance of the beach! LOVED staying there! Thank you Yvette

Our best vacation!

The pictures can't fully illustrate the beauty and spaciousness of this condo. The size and layout easily accommodated our family of 4 (with room to spare) and the decor was elegant and tasteful. The condo was equip with more than just the necessities - full size washer & dryer, first aid kit, board games, DVD's, beach towels and beach toys. In addition to the beautiful pool on site, we had access to the hotel's concierge services, butterfly pavilion, and other amenities. The views from the large balcony of the ocean, beach and wildlife were truly amazing. Every day we were dazzled by the macaws, monkeys, birds and reptiles that lingered naturally in full view of our outdoor dining table and lounge areas. Watching the sun set with a glass of wine topped each day of adventure. The beach itself is gorgeous and the surrounding area has a lot to offer such as a full restaurant, clean bathrooms and activities such as snorkeling, paddle boarding and boogie board rentals. 2 lifeguards keep a watchful eye. The weather was perfect most of the week. It was warm and on the humid side and since this is considered the "Green Season" we were not surprised when we had rain in the afternoon on one day and a quick shower on another. Don't believe the forecast online before you go! It's sunny and beautiful in June! We did many of the activities recommended by Guy: Carara National Park, viewed crocodiles at the Tarcoles Bridge, Vista Los Suenos zip line tour and watched the sun set from Villa Caletas. In addition, we took an ATV tour, a Waterfall tour and spent time at the beach. So much to do!! The owner, Guy, was fantastic. He kept in contact before, during and after our stay. Prior to our arrival, he provided us with an information packet and all the necessary details we needed to get to the condo (rental car info, currency, location of grocery store, etc). Once we arrived, he had someone there to greet us who provide us with a cell phone for our use during our stay. Guy called the first night to check in and then emailed us the next day with additional advice on where to dine within 30 minutes, great places to see the sunset and the location of the large grocery store. He was so accommodating and has thought of everything! This was by far our best vacation - full of wonder and adventure. We will definitely come again!
