We can't recommend this house enough. The house was comfortable, the beach was private and beautiful, the water was warm, the surroundings were amazing! Cheo the caretaker was kind and helpful, sharing homegrown squash and taking us to a nearby fishing village (at 6 AM) to buy delicious red snapper right off the boat. His lovely son treated us to young delicious coconut. Pat, a nearby neighbor and local contact was helpful and friendly, and directed us to a wonderful butterfly/bee tour with Mike. Thanks to all of you.

My husband & I stayed at Luna Azul from 2/29/14-3/4/14. I wish I were there now! The house is beautiful and the patio was divine! The furnishings inside and out were very comfortable. We spent all our time outside only going in to go to bed. The sunsets were spectacular with 4 monkeys playing in the tree next to the pool at the same time. Antonio and his wife were quite welcoming and made our stay very nice. My husband and I have been traveling throughout the Caribbean and Central America for many years and I have to say that this is the safest we have ever felt. We felt comfortable enough to leave the slider open at night. The hill that the house is on is too steep to try to climb and any cars must go through the locked gate @ Antonio's house. In fact the whole area is very safe. I was a little skeptical about no air conditioning in the bedrooms, however I wouldn't have used it if it was there. The breezes at night are heavenly, we even used a blanket a few of the nights! We went to local restaurants and hotels for meals and drinks and there were very few other tourists there. The beaches are beautiful and we were often the only people on them. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing vacation. We can't wait to go back!
