This was my second trip to San Dollar Cove and as with the previous stay I found every thing that I could want in a vacation. Excellent beach, great location, extremely helpful property manager and a happy caretaker. Remember that the drive "Over The Mountain" is awesome although the road is not for the faint of heart at night. Walk the beach and collect sand dollars or just relax, either way this is the place to get away from everything. Excellent internet connection so you can keep up with the world if needed although not recommended as the world will still be there when you get home. This time I had fresh fish, caught that morning that I purchased in Bejuco and prepared by Doris. I like fish and this was the best I have had. I can not recommend SDC enough.

My husband & I stayed at Luna Azul from 2/29/14-3/4/14. I wish I were there now! The house is beautiful and the patio was divine! The furnishings inside and out were very comfortable. We spent all our time outside only going in to go to bed. The sunsets were spectacular with 4 monkeys playing in the tree next to the pool at the same time. Antonio and his wife were quite welcoming and made our stay very nice. My husband and I have been traveling throughout the Caribbean and Central America for many years and I have to say that this is the safest we have ever felt. We felt comfortable enough to leave the slider open at night. The hill that the house is on is too steep to try to climb and any cars must go through the locked gate @ Antonio's house. In fact the whole area is very safe. I was a little skeptical about no air conditioning in the bedrooms, however I wouldn't have used it if it was there. The breezes at night are heavenly, we even used a blanket a few of the nights! We went to local restaurants and hotels for meals and drinks and there were very few other tourists there. The beaches are beautiful and we were often the only people on them. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing vacation. We can't wait to go back!
