Gorgeous house, amazing beach and great service

5 of 5
I'll try and summarize since I don't like long reviews.. Preparation. - Mary from Beach Grass was timely with the contract and confirmation - Communicated well pre-visit - Provided great directions from LIB - Took my grocery requests and stocked the fridge for us (convenient) House. - Stunning views - High end home with gorgeous main living area - 3rd floor deck gives incredible night sky views - infinity pool and outdoor kitchen space is resort quality. - steps to the amazing beaches. - very close to some great places to eat - private and safe - Lots of great amenities (ping pong, TV, wifi) - Pool level full bath and outside rinse shower by pool. Beach Grass - prompt communication - Very helpful with planning. - gave A+ restaurant recommendations and made reservations where needed. - Set me up with THE best guide for Palo Verde River tour - Assisted in general questions about area. - Quick refund of damage deposit once we checked out without issue. My family of 4 had way more space than needed but this is quite an amazing house. Everything is build around views of the playa including the main living area, decks and pool area. The house is even better in person than the pictures show. For a large party, the sleeping arrangements won't be as luxurious so let me break it down. Master Bed - single king with a very nice bathroom. Sleeps 2 Guest room. - single bed, comfy sleeps 2 (shared bath) 3rd BR (Dorm room) - double and triple bunk (5). Small , (share Bath) Cabana room - (separate suite off pool area). Sleeps 2 (I think). - off main floor so I did not put kids here. - pool level so slightly musty For families with kids it's awesome because of the bunks and extra places to sleep. For multi-families, one couple will get the master and then others will take the guest and cabana.

A-Mazing Vacation at Casa Vista Azul

5 of 5
If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation that will provide you memories for a lifetime, I highly recommend Casa Vista Azul! My friends and I rented the home for a week to celebrate Christmas and the New Year. The property fit the 3 couples very comfortably (separate bedrooms, A/C, fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms), on-property grill, and multiple seating/relaxing areas. The property's infinity pool was a welcome relief from the heat and would be a great asset for families with children; and with direct access to the beach, it was easy to pop down to the beach for a morning walk or an afternoon playing in the surf. Each night we toasted the setting sun in the open air living room, and enjoyed the fire-pit late into the night. The property manager Mary was very helpful, suggesting we visit the bar down the beach (a 5 minute walk) or make the longer trek (by foot or car) to Lola's. Local purveyors visit the property via truck to sell fish, bread, etc. Great experience! The property is best accessed through the Liberia, CR airport. And be sure to rent an SUV as the CR roads are very "rustic". If you stay here, I strongly recommend you cook onsite for your vacation. There are some major supermarkets after leaving the Liberia airport or in Tamarindo. There are some pretty good restaurants nearby (Lola's, Villa Deveena) but CR is not known for its restaurants so you may want to do some of your own cooking. Besides, why wouldn't you want to cook some locally caught fish from the visiting truck! Highly recommend this property.
