STUNNING VILLA PERFECT FOR ESCAPING THE BIG CITY!

                      5 of 5
We absolutely loved this villa and our trip to Costa Rica. The villa is a very quick walk across the street from the beach, and right down the road from the heart of Tamarindo. The beach is much quieter than the main beaches in Tamarindo, offering a true beach escape. It was also incredible to be able to walk back from the beach to have lunch, and hang out at the private pool before heading back to the beach for some afternoon surfing. Getting to the main part of Tamarindo is a walk or quick, inexpensive cab ride away, and there are tons of restaurants to try. There is a also a grocery store right near the villa, and a larger one a short car ride away for meals in the villa. We chose to eat breakfast and lunch the the villa, and most dinners out. One night, we did cook a big dinner at the villa and relaxed by the pool. Our experience was incredible, and we are looking forward to heading back to Costa Rica soon!

                      VERY NICE HOUSE

                      4 of 5
I enjoyed our stay at this most comfortable and well appointed house last week. The private patio and pool were a great place to spend time with our friends. The bedrooms off the courtyard / pool were extremely comfortable, with king beds, cathedral ceilings and sliding glass doors were augmented by another set of sliding wooden doors, allowing the rooms to remain quiet and dark in the mornings. The bathrooms featured large marble "rain showers," (though our shower head needed some work). We were a short walk to a beautiful beach where we enjoyed the sunsets, and downtown Tamarindo was only a five-minute drive (you could also walk) from our quiet, upscale residential neighborhood. A small grocery store half a block away was great for picking up needed items, including wine. I definitely would stay here again and recommend it to others.

                      TOTALLY INCREDIBLE

                      5 of 5
This is a palace.!! We were blown away when we opened the door and walked in. As beautiful as the photos are, they don’t do this place justice. It is truly a house of “light” and a house of”views”. Whichever room you are in you can see the beautiful landscaping, the beach, the ocean waters and the incredible sunsets. The house is an architectural masterpiece of stone and glass. The master suite is amazing and has its own balcony with stunning views. All 5 bedrooms are large with king size beds, ensuite bathrooms and luxurious bedding’/linens. This wonderful home is located on a street that the locals call, “Millionaires’ Row”. Even though the home is palatial and it makes you feel like royalty, it is also very comfortable and relaxing. There is an ambiance of relaxation that permeates every room in the house. There are both covered and uncovered patio areas with very comfortable patio furniture. The infinity pool is gorgeous and is a perfect size for both playing and swimming laps. We really appreciated the flat screen TVs, Wi-Fi, Viking appliances and huge kitchen. The full time staff is an added bonus. Iris, who does housekeeping, laundry, dishes, etc. on a daily basis is a sweetheart. She kept the place spotless. There are also full time groundskeepers who keep the grounds looking beautiful. I understand that you can also make arrangements for a chef, but we didn’t do that. There is also a nice office, if you “have to work”.I chose to not carry my cell phone or wear my watch while we were there. What a feeling of freedom! The ocean water was like bath water. Way different than our “blue-lips” experiences in So Calif and other places. The small town of Tamarindo has many good places to eat. We loved having pizza at La Baula (great setting and great pizza). The burgers at Longosta Beach Club are the best. There is a very nice (quite new) grocery store nearby called Auto Mercado where you can get anything you need. My wife was quick to notice several “boutique” shopping opportunities also. Tamarindo is an amazing area. I think it may be the best tourist area in Costa Rica. It has a small airport with daily flights to and from San Jose for about $89. This is much cheaper and faster than driving. In summary, our time at Villa Marrakech was wonderful in every way. The only downside I can think of is that we couldn’t stay longer.
