Casa Oasis Summer Vacation from The Colony TX

        5 of 5
Our family cannot describe in enough words our experience in Costa Rica for the first time. It was our first time to take our children who ranged from 8-16 out of the states. We are extremely happy we chose one of Federico's homes. The pool guy Steve was even fantastic, he rode with us into Tamarindo to show us around and then he took the bus home, we tipped him. But the fact that he was willing to do this, showed great hospitality. Federico met us at the house, to show us around and offer his guidance for the trip. The next day he was willing to drive us around the resort and booked our excursions for us. We highly recommend going to Borienqueene Mountain Resort. It's a 2 hour drive, well worth it for all that you get to do. It was the high light of our trip! My 8 year old even zip lined towards the end the guys running the ziplines offered to ride with him. If you do not want to venture out in costa rica as we did, there is plenty to do on the resort area. Many beaches, the beach club was awesome and Playa Lola was cool as well. However if you can, venture out to Playa Conchal, it is a must. Where else can you get $20 beach massages? You can do all your souvenir shopping here for cheap as well. There you can hire a local to take you snorkeling which was far better than the expensive catamaran one. The Catamaran tour was neat if you have never done one, it involves a sunset cruise, you might be able to see dolphins and whales (we did not). We are from The Colony Texas, and highly recommend this house or any of Federico's houses. He has a private website as well.
