CASA OASIS SUMMER VACATION FROM THE COLONY TX

5 of 5
Our family cannot describe in enough words our experience in Costa Rica for the first time. It was our first time to take our children who ranged from 8-16 out of the states. We are extremely happy we chose one of Federico's homes. The pool guy Steve was even fantastic, he rode with us into Tamarindo to show us around and then he took the bus home, we tipped him. But the fact that he was willing to do this, showed great hospitality. Federico met us at the house, to show us around and offer his guidance for the trip. The next day he was willing to drive us around the resort and booked our excursions for us. We highly recommend going to Borienqueene Mountain Resort. It's a 2 hour drive, well worth it for all that you get to do. It was the high light of our trip! My 8 year old even zip lined towards the end the guys running the ziplines offered to ride with him. If you do not want to venture out in costa rica as we did, there is plenty to do on the resort area. Many beaches, the beach club was awesome and Playa Lola was cool as well. However if you can, venture out to Playa Conchal, it is a must. Where else can you get $20 beach massages? You can do all your souvenir shopping here for cheap as well. There you can hire a local to take you snorkeling which was far better than the expensive catamaran one. The Catamaran tour was neat if you have never done one, it involves a sunset cruise, you might be able to see dolphins and whales (we did not). We are from The Colony Texas, and highly recommend this house or any of Federico's houses. He has a private website as well.

WONDERFUL HOUSE FOR FAMILY VACATION

5 of 5
Our son-in-law the surfer wanted to go on a surfing trip for his birthday, so we all came down to Guanacaste and stayed a week in this lovely Hacienda Pinilla house. Our party was 6 adults and 2 young children, and there was plenty of room for all. The bedrooms are private and in two wings at either end of the house. The kitchen was well-equipped and modern, and we did a lot of our cooking at the outdoor gas grill. The beautiful swimming pool, cleaned daily, was a highlight, with a shallow end for my 5 yo grand daughter, and long enough to swim laps for the rest of us. We enjoyed access to the Hacienda Pinilla Beach Club, with its lovely free form pool, and convenient restaurant (open mainly for lunch). These are surfing beaches, meaning that with high wave action they're not usually suitable for swimming and ordinary wave jumping, except occasionally at low tide. Federico the owner was always gracious and helpful, and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. Don't miss Villa Deveena, about 20 minutes to the south. Overall a great place for a relaxing family vacation.

DEFINITELY 5 STARS!

5 of 5
Best vacation ever! Hacienda Pinilla is a true paradise, the beaches are beautiful, the people friendly and the house even better than we expected. The open living area was perfect for family time, the private pool leads right up to the golf course and is sorrounded by palm trees. The beaches are really close (5 min drive) and are spectacular. The owner Federico was available to answer all our questions and help us any way he could. Highlights: dinner at villa Deevena (ask federico), sunset at the Beach Club, horseback riding, Buenavista tour, among many others. Thank you to Federico for making us feel at home! We hope to return to Costa Rica and of course stay at this wonderful place.
